I understand the value of good photography as a family keepsake and a means to communicate with future generations in a way that words fall short.

I love a pretty picture but even more, I cherish a poignant capture — a stolen moment, a connection between two beings, the excitement and sentiment that sneaks up on us and carries us through the mundane.
