Danny, Owner and Lead Photographer

Danny Pellei is a Virginia fine art wedding photographer who began his career learning under world-renowned wedding photographer Eric Kelley, shooting 20+ destination weddings across the United States. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Computer Science, Danny soon realized his true passion was photography and pursued it wholeheartedly. Today, his work spans from fine art weddings to global commercial projects, taking him around the world to capture beauty in all forms.

Beyond photography, Danny finds inspiration in life’s adventures. Half Japanese, he spends several weeks each year in Japan, reconnecting with culture and family. He’s a licensed commercial drone pilot, a salsa dancer, a freediver and scuba enthusiast, and a passionate traveler—always seeking new stories, people, and places to inspire his work and life.

    We honestly cannot recommend Danny, Meg, George, and their team enough! From the very first conversations that led us to choosing them as our wedding photographers to the wedding day itself and receiving our photos, the entire experience exceeded every expectation we had. We were already in awe of their photography before our wedding, but seeing our own wedding captured and edited by them left us absolutely speechless. Their style is timeless, classic, emotional, and dramatic in the best possible way. They have an incredible ability to capture not only how a moment looks, but how it *feels*. Looking through our photos brings us right back to the emotions, joy, and love we experienced that day, and that is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. What makes Danny, Meg, and George so special goes far beyond their talent behind the camera. They are genuinely good, caring, Christian people who treat you like family rather than just another client.     September 2026 Wedding

    Danny and his team photographed my September 2026 wedding as well as my engagement pictures and to say they delivered is an understatement. All of our photos came out amazing and his turn around time was very quick! Communication through the entire process was seamless. Danny made photography one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning process. I would highly recommend!

    Great people, great pictures!

    They were an amazing team to work with, a little pricy, but totally worth it. They made it so fun and were incredibly thorough and professional. They kept things moving along at a decent pace and worked great with our schedule. They even made sure to add a few picture suggestions I had which turned out great. Loved having them as my photographers and would definitely recommend them for your event!

    Best Wedding Photographer in Virginia!

    Danny and his team are fantastic!! We hired Danny to photograph our wedding, which happened to fall on a sweltering day in August 2026. Danny’s attention to detail, his artistry, and patience in getting the most beautiful shots are unmatched. His photos truly told the story of our wedding, and looking back at them we feel as if we’re reliving that beautiful day again. It’s incredible, thanks to Danny and his brother George. My husband and I look great in all the photos of us, but we were also really moved after seeing the photos of our family and friends because he really captured their joy. Danny didn’t just shoot our wedding, he went above and beyond to engage with guests in order to capture them at their best. Because of that, I know when I look at these photos 10 years from now, I’ll appreciate them even more. Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding and your preferences.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
You can expect at least 100 edited images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of photographers, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a link with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. Depending on the package I also provide about 100 sneak peaks within 24 hours that can be shared immediately with friends and family.
Typically, couples book about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my team's availability, especially heading into the peak season. Since I have a team I typically can have at least one of us there.
All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
I make your wedding my number one priority. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my team members, colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Yes, if allowed by the venue, we are not in restricted airspace, and weather cooperates. I have four licensed commercial drone pilots on my team.
