Danny, Owner and Lead Photographer

Danny Pellei is a Virginia fine art wedding photographer who began his career learning under world-renowned wedding photographer Eric Kelley, shooting 20+ destination weddings across the United States. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Computer Science, Danny soon realized his true passion was photography and pursued it wholeheartedly. Today, his work spans from fine art weddings to global commercial projects, taking him around the world to capture beauty in all forms.

Beyond photography, Danny finds inspiration in life’s adventures. Half Japanese, he spends several weeks each year in Japan, reconnecting with culture and family. He’s a licensed commercial drone pilot, a salsa dancer, a freediver and scuba enthusiast, and a passionate traveler—always seeking new stories, people, and places to inspire his work and life.

    the BEST photographer you will ever hire!

    Danny was amazing to work with for our wedding photos! His style is beautiful and luxury-looking, and we were so happy with how the pictures turned out. He also got the photos back to us so quickly, which was such a nice surprise. He made the whole process really easy and fun. He was super funny, helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and took care of all the posing so we didn’t have to stress about what to do. That made such a big difference on a busy wedding day. We’re so grateful and would definitely recommend Danny & Co Photography!

    Danny went above and beyond for our surprise engagement photoshoot! He did such an incredible job capturing the moment. Both my fiancé and I can be a little awkward in front of the camera, but Danny immediately put us at ease. He guided us with natural poses, made us feel completely comfortable, and the photos turned out beautifully. They were so real, effortless, and honestly stunning in quality.
