    Hiring Catherine was by far our best decision for our wedding day. We clicked from the start! After seeing her website, I knew we had to work with her. At first my husband was unsure because we hadn't settled on a budget yet, but once we had our consult he was in! Once we had our engagement session, he was also a raving fan. He's not crazy about photos and he actually enjoyed the experience! Catherine made it feel so natural and so easy. He had imagined photography to be really slow and heavily posed and boring, but Catherine had prompts to keep us moving, laughing and focused on each other. For our wedding day, she did the ABSOLUTE most amazing job with her second photographer. They captured literally everything that was important to us and better than we ever could have imagined. Then, don't get us started on the album - she encouraged us to have an album reveal party with our wedding parties and parents and no one could believe the quality weight and luxury of the leather album. I know we'll be showing our children and grandchildren this album when the time comes. Catherine, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and if you're wondering, YES go hire her now!

    Catherine Johanna Photography was the best investment we made for our wedding day. From the moment we first spoke with Catherine, her communication style was efficient, thoughtful, and kind. The quality of her work is truly amazing - it is intentional, emotion-filled, and heirloom quality. Catherine made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and she captured all these incredible moments that made us say "WOW, I can't believe she got that!"
