Hello! We are the Magic is in the Makeup! I am Liz, the Owner and Lead Stylist. I have been doing Makeup for 19 years and Styling Hair for 10 years. Helping people feel like the most beautiful versions of themselves is why I do what I do! I love beauty and am passionate about helping every Bride and Bridal Guest feel their best on their Special Day. My team members are just as experienced and have similar training, as well as passion! I attended and graduated from The Empire Academy of Makeup and worked for and was trained by MAC cosmetics, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. We would love to be the ones to put the final touches on you!

What sets us apart from other Artists and Beauty Teams is our years of experience, our commitment to our clients and our custom shade mixing abilities. We also offer decorative hair pieces for Hair Styling. Lashes are included with all of our Makeup Services as well.

Working with The Magic is in the Makeup team was an absolute dream! From the beginning the planning process was made easy when I felt like we nailed my look at the first trial. Liz was always helpful in creating my girls’ timeline & very flexible when I needed to made edits. I trusted her kind eye when it came to making everyone including myself feel like the best version of themselves for my wedding day. My makeup stayed the entire day & continued to make me feel beautiful & confident. Thank you Liz!

Best decision ever!!!
Liz was so easy to work with and very easy to communicate with. She did my hair and makeup trial on my rehearsal day because that’s what worked for me logistically, and she absolutely nailed the look that I wanted. She then executed it flawlessly again the next day for my wedding and I could not be happier with the result. She is punctual, professional, clearly very experienced, and she listens to what you want. Every single person who got a service from her was thrilled with the outcome. My mother in law originally only signed up to get her hair done, but after she saw how great everyone’s makeup looked she asked if she could get makeup done too and Liz was able to fit her into the schedule AND still get everyone done on time. I felt so beautiful and elegant and my husband could not stop complimenting the way she did my hair and makeup, and he does not give compliments out unless they are well-deserved!!! I don’t have close ups of my hair and makeup yet, but I’ll come back and add them later if I can!

Amazing.! Highly recommended!
The Magic is in the Makeup made my elopement day absolutely unforgettable. When I needed someone to come to my house at 11 pm for a sunrise ceremony, she didn't hesitate and showed up ready to work. From our first conversation, she was responsive and thoughtful, taking time to understand exactly what I wanted. Her skill and experience really showed as she made me feel like a princess on my wedding day – I looked and felt my best in every moment. She paid attention to every detail and genuinely cared about making me beautiful for such an important milestone. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Amazing!
Working with Elizabeth at The Magic is in the Makeup was such a great choice for our wedding day. From our first conversation, she listened carefully to what I wanted and made sure I felt heard throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, Elizabeth's skill and attention to detail really showed—my makeup and hair looked flawless and made me feel confident walking down the aisle. Loved my Makeup!
My Makeup was Flawless! Elizabeth nailed the look I asked for. We also scheduled my appointment with extra time in mind and she didn’t even need it! I was done early and my Makeup was on point. Thank you so much!!
