Your appointment will be confirmed once the contract sent is signed along with your security deposit to lock in your wedding date. Security deposit is non-refundable and only "holds" your date for a period of time. Both are needed to get you on the calendar!
We offer hair and makeup services and hair and makeup trials prior to your wedding day. I work with a couple of very talented stylists for bigger parties that have the same pricing as me.
Yes, there is a travel fee from our location to the location where you will be getting ready at. Travel will be charged for each artist if more than 1 is needed.
6 hair and 6 makeup is our MAX amount of services, with a minimum of Bride + 1 . We can accommodate 1-2 more if there is available time on my schedule and my stylist's schedule as well. For very large parties, I highly recommend booking a bridal team.
Booking a trial prior to booking will not secure your wedding date. I cannot guarantee that your wedding date will still be available after your trial.

    Wedding Makeup

    From the moment Joy arrived, she was so friendly, easygoing, and easy to talk to. She made getting ready such a pleasant experience, and everyone enjoyed chatting with her throughout the morning. Her calm personality was especially appreciated, and she was even a bit of a sounding board during a few overwhelming moments for myself as the bride , which meant a lot on such a busy day. She really contributed to a relaxed atmosphere, which made the morning feel much less stressful. If you’re looking for someone who is good at what they do, kind, personable, and helps make the getting-ready portion of your wedding day feel calm and enjoyable, I’d definitely recommend her!

    Best MUA in SD!!

    From our first conversation, Joy made everything feel relaxed and simple. Joy listened to what I wanted and really understood how to bring out my best features. On the wedding day, she made me feel beautiful and confident, and the whole bridal party loved how they looked in their makeup. Joy went above and beyond to help cover up a bridesmaid's sunburn so she felt great too. Joy's easy approach and genuine care for each of us made our day feel special. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride looking for a beauty professional who truly cares.

    The dream team!!

    Joy was absolutely amazing for my wedding day! She asked so many thoughtful questions to make sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it which I really appreciated. She brought in her hair stylist Bailey, who also did an incredible job on my hair. The two of them worked seamlessly together and you could tell they have a great dynamic. Having both of them there made the whole experience feel so smooth and stress-free. The makeup and hair looked stunning and lasted throughout the entire day, which is everything you could ask for on your wedding day. I would 100% recommend Joy and Bailey to any bride looking for talented, caring professionals who will make you feel beautiful and at ease. You will not be disappointed!

    Natural elevated glam!

    Joy was such an amazing part of our wedding day experience. She did both my makeup and my mom’s makeup, and we absolutely loved how everything turned out. Our makeup looked so natural and elevated — exactly what I was hoping for — and it lasted throughout the day! She was incredibly attentive, calm, and so easy to talk to, which made the entire getting-ready process feel much more relaxed and enjoyable. The hairstylist Joy brought in was also fantastic, they made a great team. I’m so grateful for their talent and kindness and would highly recommend Joy to any bride!!

    Felt so beautiful on my wedding day!

    Joy did my bridal makeup, as well as 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms and we all looked and felt so beautiful. Joy was receptive to helping me navigate what I liked in the photo inspo I had, since I am not a big daily makeup wearer. My final look was perfect and I felt 11/10 beautiful on my big day. Joy was communicative, and arrived right on time for my trials and wedding day. She worked with me to create a timeline and we stuck to it the day of. I definitely recommend.
