Paru was so wonderful from the very first moment. It was great how easy she was to communicate with and she made me feel so secure in my choice very quickly. Paru had a wonderful portfolio of work to look at online with many diverse clients which made my vision really feel possible as I have a very diverse friend group with ladies of so many different skin tones and complexions. She was amazing at really capturing what I wanted for my wedding day makeup and was super accommodating despite having many additions to my wedding party needs between booking and day of. The whole time, Paru was super professional, kind and understanding of my changing needs. When the morning of the wedding came, she and her assistant were professional and prepared, while also being a joy to work with. I had 5 bridesmaids, my mom, mom’s friend, grandma, and me getting ready and everything worked out perfectly on time. She was so kind accommodating last minute additions just days before the wedding too, and taking such great care of my grandma, who hasn’t had her makeup done in a very long time. Paru and her assistant took such good care of all my ladies and me and everyone looked so stunning, me included of course. She sent me off with a touch up kit, but despite many tears, I feel like my makeup didn’t budge the whole night!!! I’ve never had makeup look so ME, I almost didn’t recognize myself right away as someone who hardly wears makeup, but once I was fully dressed and glammed up I felt like the most perfect version of myself. It was really like a dream come true! I am so happy with how my look and all my ladies turned out, everyone was so beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough, she was such an angel to work with. I’ve never felt more beautiful!

Can't say enough great things about Paru! She was so easy to work with from start to finish and I cannot thank her enough. She was so kind and sweet throughout and I honestly can't thank her enough. I originally had contacted her for hair but added in make up last minute due to issues I was having with other vendors and I am so glad I did! Our trial was amazing and she made me feel like a movie star. It felt so wild to see myself in glam but she did it so well! I wasn't sure how I would feel with a glam look but it definitely played out nicely. We also spontaneously decided to braid my husband's hair during my trial and oh my god, it was so good! We hired her for day of for that as well because it looked so nice and clean. On day of the wedding she did an even better job and honestly knocked it out of the park. She also did my mom and my MOH's make up which both looked so fabulous. I am so grateful to her for making this portion of my day so incredibly seamless and without stress. There's nothing more I could have asked for and can't wait to see how my pictures came out!

We had an amazing experience working with Paru Art Studio for our wedding hair and makeup! She was extremely responsive throughout the planning process, with clear communication and quick replies to texts. On the day of, she was right on time and we had a very relaxed and fun morning. She was flexible when I wanted a change to my hair as well. Paru did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup - it looked great in the pictures! She also styled my husband's hair, which he doesn't normally do, and it held all night even though he has a massive cowlick. Her services were reasonably priced and worth every penny. I highly recommend!

Paru not only did an amazing job on my hair and makeup (and that of my bridal party) but was also extremely responsive, organized, detail oriented. You can see she genuinely cares for her customers and takes great care in both doing a good job and creating excitement on wedding day!

Paru did my mom and i’s hair for my special day and was so amazing! My mom doesn’t get done up so she was not familiar with the process but Paru made sure both of us were satisfied with our hair and made sure to put in the accessories well so that it all stays! So fun to work with!!
