Hi there! Thank you for stopping by my page! I started doing freelance makeup over 10 years ago and started K. Renee Beauty in 2022 after the birth of our daughter who drives and motivates me every day! Makeup has always been my passion and nothing makes me happier than glamming my brides and their bridal parties and being a part of the most important day of their lives.

When you sit in my makeup chair, I first like to get to know each client individually and create looks that enhance their natural features. I believe communication is very important when getting your makeup done to achieve your desired look. I want all my clients to leave happy, confident and feel like the best version of themselves.     I can’t say enough great things about Kara! I actually booked her a year before my wedding after finding her on Instagram and being blown away by her work. We stayed in touch throughout the year, and by the time we met in person, it felt like I already knew her, which made the entire experience so comfortable and easy. I’m usually not a fan of getting my makeup done because it often feels heavy, the wrong shade, or just not done well. But the moment I looked in the mirror after Kara finished, I was genuinely stunned. I have never felt more beautiful. Her work is incredibly natural, clean, and flawless. It stayed on both days through the heavy rain and tears! Kara did my makeup for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and each time she exceeded every expectation. She was professional, timely, and thoughtful. She even provided touch-up kits that absolutely saved me during a rainy rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. I highly recommend Kara. She is truly talented, dependable, and so easy to work with. I’d fly back to Virginia just to have her do my makeup again!!

    Kara is absolutely incredible. I used her for a bridal event, but wish I was able to use her for my actual wedding day because her makeup made me feel the prettiest I'd ever felt! She was prompt and communicative, very fairly priced, and delivered an amazing experience. She used quality products. My makeup was FLAWLESS and lasted ALL NIGHT! She made sure I loved it before she finished, and offered to change or adjust anything but it was literally perfect. She is so sweet and fun, and her energy was exactly what I needed on a stressful day. I will use her forever for any event I need glam for!
