The name Freya comes from the Nordic Goddess, Freyja, who is the goddess of love, beauty, and war. We chose the name to represent the love, beauty, and strength of a women. ​ Since 2016, Freya Beauty Salon has grown to be one of the most prominent spots in the Derry, guaranteeing quality and professionalism to all of our customers. Over the years, we’ve always been committed to making our devoted customers look stunning and feel their best.

    Amazing work

    Shayla did an amazing job on my wedding day with six hair services (bride, 2 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and sister of the groom)! She was so kind and pleasant, and she worked so quickly in a four hour timeframe! Everyone looked great and loved how their hairstyles turned out. She was so accommodating when I changed my mind on how I wanted my hair done on the wedding day compared to the hair trial. She truly wanted me to love how I looked and she’ll absolutely do the same for you! I had my trial at her salon and it had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Shayla for your wedding day hair!

    We looked fabulous!

    Freya Beauty Salon was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. From the very first interaction, they were professional, prompt, and friendly in their communication, putting me at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of, the stylist and makeup artist created looks for myself and my bridal party that were high quality, beautiful, and lasted all day and night. Myself and all my girls looked absolutely stunning thanks to the talented team at Freya Beauty Salon. I couldn't have asked for a better beauty experience for my special day!

    Outstanding

    Shayla was fantastic! She was so easy to communicate with, and understood my needs exactly. I changed up my style a little from the trial on the wedding day and she 1000% nailed it. I had so much fun getting ready with her, and felt like an absolute princess the entire night.
