    Black Orchid Beauty is truly amazing! Gina, the owner, was wonderful to work with…her communication was excellent and she did so much behind the scenes to make everything seamless. While she wasn’t available on my wedding day, her team was incredible. Daisy did my makeup and Marissa did my hair, and they were both absolutely fantastic! Marissa was especially amazing with my mom, who was unsure about her hairstyle since she normally wears her hair down. She kindly offered another trial at no charge (not because anything was wrong, just a change of heart), which meant so much. On the wedding day, they were calm, organized, and ahead of schedule. Everyone looked stunning, and they made the whole morning stress-free and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Black Orchid, especially for larger bridal parties… they are a truly talented and caring team!

The team truly cared about making me look and feel my best, and their attention to detail showed in every aspect of their work.     Beautiful, But Policy Confusion Left a Sour Note

    Overall, everything went very smoothly, and I truly enjoyed working with Anna on the morning of my wedding. She was lovely to work with, listened carefully to my feedback from the trial, and incorporated my requested changes so that I felt beautiful and confident on such a special day. My only disappointment with Black Orchid was during the booking process. The website clearly stated that the holiday fee was a one-time charge for the entire booking package. However, I was ultimately charged that fee for each stylist, which was not how the policy was presented online. As a bride carefully budgeting for wedding expenses, this felt frustrating and misleading. What disappointed me most was not the fee itself, but the response from the business owner when I raised the discrepancy. A more customer-focused approach would have been to acknowledge the unclear wording, honor the policy as it was written at the time of booking, and then update the website for future clients. That would have demonstrated both professionalism and goodwill. While I was very happy with the quality of the makeup services and my experience with my stylist, the booking and communication process left me with concerns that I think future clients should be aware of.

    Professional, talented team for my wedding day!
