I am the owner and lead designer at Songbird Floral Studio. A native New Yorker that has been "Southerized" (so I have been told!) I studied interior design while living in NY. But then...I met this sailor that brought me to Virginia. I was fortunate to find a job in floral designs. Almost 15 years later and I am still loving it! I love to take classes and always improve what I can do for our clients. Coming up with designs for weddings is truly what I love to do. I feel so blessed to love what I do and to be a part of our couples wedding day. I have a wonderful husband and two grown children that are always supportive and helpful.

I believe my love for design shows in everything we do. Every flower is hand selected by me. If it's not perfect, we are not using it! We provide top notch install and take down services. My goal is to take care of the details and let our couples enjoy every minute of there wedding!

We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within a 75 mile radius of Hampton Roads. Additional travel fees will apply outside of 75 miles. We have a $2,000 minimum for floral delivery. Since many weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
We have a $2,000 minimum for custom floral pieces.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, and any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. This can include images of your venue, wedding attire, fabric swatches, and your color palette. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
