Floral Artist

Floraland Weddings & Events is a New York City-based wedding floral design and planning studio serving Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey, and the wider Tri-State area. Led by floral artist Bruce Zhao and planner Neo, we create custom ceremony installations, bouquets, centerpieces, and reception designs shaped around each couple’s venue, season, and vision. Couples may book floral design on its own or alongside wedding planning and coordination. Our team manages design development, venue logistics, delivery, installation, and breakdown.

Our floral artistry and planning expertise work together, while each service is also available on its own. We start with your venue, season, color palette, and priorities, then develop a tailored proposal with clear design options. From airy garden arrangements to architectural ceremony structures, our designs emphasize movement, texture, and thoughtful detail. We coordinate directly with venues and vendors on timing and installation, and look for ways to repurpose flowers from ceremony to reception when the design allows.

    Everything was so smooth thanks to Neo

    Honestly, I do not even know where to begin with Neo and FloraLand, because saying they were amazing does not even begin to cover it. Hiring them was the best decision we made for our entire wedding. From our very first chat, Neo made us feel so taken care of. Every time we threw out a scattered idea, he really listened, never made us feel silly, and immediately figured out how to bring it to life in a way that actually worked. What amazed me most was how much he truly paid attention. Neo would remember tiny little details we had mentioned in passing weeks earlier, things that my partner and I had totally spaced on, and he would already have a thoughtful solution ready. Wedding planning can get so overwhelming so fast, but Neo was our absolute rock. He was always so calm and reassuring, giving us heads up along the way so we stayed ahead of schedule without ever feeling that awful last minute panic. He is one of the kindest, calmest people to be around, but when it comes to the work, he is on top of everything. He never hesitates to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty. On the wedding day, I saw him moving chairs around, bringing us water, setting up our signages and directing the guests for photo, etc. Even our other vendors, including our hair and makeup team, kept telling us how much they loved working with him. The timeline was tight, everything ran so smoothly, and absolutely nothing fell through the cracks. Because of Neo, we were actually able to just let go, breathe, and take in every moment of our day with the people we love most. We cannot thank him enough. If you are planning your wedding, do yourself the biggest favor and book Floraland!

    100% worth it

    I’d been following Floraland for a long time, so when I started planning my wedding a year ago, reaching out to them for florals was a no-brainer. Neo was amazing right from the start, he was super attentive, really took the time to understand what I was going for, and shared so many great design ideas. Just 2 days after we bounced around initial thoughts, he sent over a detailed quote and set up a call to walk me through the whole floral vision. After that, email communication was a breeze. Neo and his team were crazy fast at replying and took care of talking to our venue, which took so much stress off our plate ! Work had been crazy busy, so my original plan to DIY the wedding quickly became overwhelming, and I honestly felt pretty lost. As I worked more with Neo, I found out he’s also a really experienced wedding planner and designer. Since Floraland was already handling our flowers, Neo started chiming in with super helpful advice on linens, chair rentals, and stage sourcing. I totally trusted his eye and loved how easy he was to work with, so I asked if he could just plan the whole wedding. Neo said yes without skipping a beat. Once Flora Team stepped in to plan, I barely had to worry about a thing. They stayed on top of our photo/video team and venue logistics, and hooked us up with fantastic vendors—from rentals and lighting to an incredible band and mc/dj. About a month out, pretty much everything was already squared away. Even in those final two or three weeks, Neo was so patient, touching base with every single vendor to make sure all the little details were locked in. On the day of, Florland florals completely blew us away and allour guests were raving about how gorgeous everything looked. Neo and Elaine kept the entire day running so smoothly. Their care and hard work made the whole planning process genuinely fun instead of stressful. I can't thank Florand enough for giving us our dream wedding. Though It’s been two months already, and my husband and I are still talking about how perfect it was. If you’re on the fence, Floraland team is 100% worth it!

    Most dependable team

    From our very first conversation, Neo was easy to talk to, responsive, and upfront about everything. He walked us through the different packages and helped us figure out what made sense for us. I had already booked most of our vendors, so we mainly needed help bringing everything together and managing the day. Neo and his team were amazing. They shared planning guides and spreadsheets that helped us get all the details in one place and think through things we would have otherwise missed. At our venue walkthrough, he asked questions I never would have thought to ask, then followed up with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. At rehearsal, most of us had no idea where to stand or when to walk, but Neo guided everyone through it and made us feel comfortable. On the wedding day, his team set up all my DIY stationery and decorations so beautifully. It was honestly better than what I had pictured. After the ceremony, several family members even came up to tell me how helpful and kind he was. Throughout the day, Neo was always nearby whenever we needed something. He checked in on us, made sure we had food and water, and handled questions without making them our problem. We actually got to relax, spend time with our guests, and enjoy our own wedding. At the end of the night, all our personal items were packed up and ready for us to take home, which we really appreciated after such a long day. We’re so glad we had Neo and his team with us and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a thoughtful, organized, and dependable wedding coordinator！

    Highly Recommend!

    Choosing Neo and Florland was honestly one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. There are so many moving pieces when you’re planning a wedding, and it meant a lot to have two people we could go to with every question, big or small. They listened to what we wanted, remembered the details we cared about, and made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. Neo helped us turn all our ideas into a plan that actually worked, while Bruce created flowers that felt exactly like us—only more beautiful than we had imagined. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they were the people we knew we could count on. Whenever a question popped into our heads or something needed sorting out at the last minute, they were patient, quick to help, and never made us feel like we were bothering them. At the rehearsal, Neo took the time to walk our families through what would happen and where everyone needed to be. It sounds like a small thing, but seeing everyone relax and feel more confident made such a difference to us. On the wedding day, Neo was somehow everywhere without ever making anything feel hectic. She carefully set out our personal items and decor, kept track of the timeline, and handled all the little details we would otherwise have been worrying about. We got to spend the day with each other and our favorite people instead of checking the clock or wondering whether something had been forgotten. And then there were Bruce’s flowers. Seeing the arrangements in person was one of those moments when we just stopped and took it all in—they were absolutely stunning. What we appreciated most was how much Neo and Bruce cared. They weren’t just doing their jobs; they made us feel supported from the first planning conversations through the end of our wedding day.     The best wedding planner and florist!!

    Neo and Bruce were the team behind our wedding, and I'm genuinely grateful to both of them. Our guest count and the venue layout changed more than once. Neo didn't just adjust things, she put together several different layout options for me to compare, and that made it much easier to make decisions calmly. I'm not an easy client when it comes to details, and she never made me feel like I was asking too much. Bruce was patient in the same way. Our floral plan changed along the way, and he went along with every revision without complaint and without cutting corners. On the day, nothing felt rushed. Nearly every guest came up to tell me how beautiful the flowers were. I heard it again and again, and I'll admit it got to me a little. If you want people who listen, plan carefully and stay steady when things shift, I'd recommend them.
