    Wonderful Experience with Tara!

    Tara was absolutely wonderful! She cared for my sister’s dog, Whiskey, during her wedding, where he had the very important job of being the ring bearer. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and communicative with me throughout the day. What really stood out was how attentive she was to Whiskey. After his final walk, she got him settled with water and reached out to let me know that he seemed anxious in his crate. Rather than simply leaving, she made sure everything was okay first. Tara was wonderful to work with, and it was great knowing Whiskey was being well taken care of while everyone enjoyed the wedding. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to help with their dog on their wedding day. Thank you again, Tara!

    Exactly who you’d want there

    Tara is one of the most organized, thoughtful, and caring people I know, especially when it comes to animals. A true animal lover, but she adores dogs! She treats pets like family and naturally goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. The Good Guest is such a natural extension of who she is, and I would trust her completely with any pet on any day but especially on a day as important as a wedding. She cared for my dog who was elderly, required medications & had physical limitations. She was not only compassionate with my aging dog, but showed extreme attention to detail in following our directions precisely. Any couple working with her will immediately feel how calm, dependable, and genuinely invested she is in making the experience feel seamless. I highly recommend this talented, caring dog lover.

    The best stand in dog mommy!

    Tara has watched my dog, Gidget, on a number of occasions both overnight and for the day. As a dog mom herself, she knows the level of commitment that goes into watching dogs, and did every silly thing we needed her to do (like give Gidget a belly rub before her harness otherwise she won’t go into it easily, or that she needs to eat chicken while you’re eating dinner otherwise she won’t eat her kibble - you know, crazy dog mom stuff). We got constant pictures and updates so we knew our dog was well taken care of and didn’t have to worry at all. Outside of being a trusted dog sitter, Tara is someone I have worked with in the past as well and can attest to her organization, attention to detail, and ability to create a seamless customer experience. She’s calm, cool, and collected under stress and I would trust her with anything I needed help getting done no matter what arena. Both you and your dog can’t go wrong with Tara - sit back, enjoy your wedding, and let her take care of your fur babies until you come down from that wedding high!

Yes! Overnight care and pet sitting can absolutely be included the day before the wedding, after the wedding, or for however long is needed depending on your plans and your dog’s needs.
Yes, transportation can absolutely be arranged as part of your package to help the day feel as seamless and stress-free as possible. I can pick your dog up from wherever they’re staying - whether that’s your home, hotel, family member’s house, or boarding location, bring them to the wedding, and transport them afterward as well. Every wedding is different, so transportation and care plans are customized around what works best for you, your timeline, and your dog.
Definitely. I work closely with your planner, photographer, venue, and vendors to help your dog’s involvement feel natural, seamless, and easy throughout the day so everyone, including your pup, can simply enjoy the celebration.
While dogs are the primary focus, I’m happy to discuss other pets on a case-by-case basis. For the comfort and safety of everyone involved, pets should be friendly and comfortable being around people, new environments, and event settings.
We are based in the NYC/NJ area and available for local weddings and events.
