August & April is a Chicago-based wedding and event design studio dedicated to creating thoughtful, personal celebrations that feel uniquely yours. August & April was born from a love of the creative details that make a celebration memorable. From romantic garden parties to colorful, modern affairs, we believe the most beautiful weddings are the ones that reflect the people at the center of them. Yes! We provide curated décor, rental, and detail recommendations to help you bring your vision to life. While we don't handle purchasing, vendor bookings, or installation, we'll help point you in the right direction.
We specialize in design rather than day-of logistics. While we help create the vision for your celebration, your planner, coordinator, venue, and vendors are responsible for executing it on the wedding day.
Ideally, once you've selected your venue and have a general sense of your budget. This gives us a great foundation for developing your wedding's overall aesthetic. That said, we're happy to help at different stages of the design process!
