We’re Event Specialists Unlike traditional sitters or daycares, we specialize in on site childcare for weddings and events. We understand the flow of a wedding and adapt our care to match the tone, space, and schedule. Custom Activity Setups From themed crafts to portable play areas, we bring engaging, kid-friendly setups that can be tailored to the couple’s theme, venue space, or age range of children attending. Ceremony only

Description

2.5 hours Perfect for guests who want to be fully present during the vows. • Quiet toys, books & puzzles • Calming crafts and activities • Supervision in a nearby or separate room • Diapering/potty help and light snack service

Reception Only Care

Description

Up to 4 hours Let the kids party their way while adults enjoy the reception. Includes: • Themed activity & craft table setup • Group games and creative play • Movie or storytime corner • Snacks and meal help (if meals are provided)

Full Wedding Day Plan

Description

Up to 6 hours Best for couples who want support throughout the full event. Includes everything from both the ceremony & reception packages, plus: • Nap/rest area for littles • Full transition care from ceremony to reception • Option to stay longer (add-on hourly rate)

Overnight/Event Hotel Care

Description

Up to 8 hours Perfect if guests need care after the event back at the hotel until checkout time. Includes: • Bedtime routine support • Quiet play, movie time • Overnight supervision For hotel-based childcare, A Child’s Experience TOO will book the hotel room for caregiver(s). The parent is responsible for payment of the room cost, which will be included in your final invoice or added as a separate fee. We handle booking and logistics Room must be in same hotel as event or within 5–10 mins

    Event childcare you can trust

    We needed event childcare for a close family wedding for our toddler and infant. Shatarra went above and beyond in helping us and our children feel comfortable. She was very flexible and both kids were calm and happy in her care. Our toddler even asked about her the next day if she would come play again, which means alot! She was very responsible and prompt; even sharing her location while watching the children for an extra sense of security. I wish I had found her sooner!

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Child Experience Daycare in Elizabeth, NJ, is truly a gem, and Teacher Sha’Tara is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel the warmth, care, and love that radiates from her and the entire environment. Sha’Tara treats every child as if they are her own, with the kind of genuine concern, patience, and attentiveness that is rare to find. She creates a safe, nurturing space where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence. Her teaching style blends structure with creativity—whether it’s identifying colors and numbers, engaging in hands-on activities, or encouraging curiosity through storytelling and imaginative play, she ensures every child is thriving academically and emotionally. What truly stands out is the personal attention she gives to each child’s needs and milestones. She’s not just a teacher; she’s a mentor, a cheerleader, and a source of comfort for both the children and parents. The peace of mind I have knowing my child is in such capable and loving hands is priceless. Child Experience is more than just a daycare—it feels like an extended family, a place where every child is cherished and supported like they are Sha’Tara’s own. Their communication was efficient and professional, and they went above and beyond to ensure our 16-month-old son was well taken care of.     No Better Wedding Childcare Around!

    From the moment we booked A Child's Experience TOO, we knew we were in good hands. Her communication was fast, kind and attentive, putting us at ease about entrusting our daughter's care on our wedding day. The team is incredibly caring, loving and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make sure our little one was well cared for and entertained throughout the event. We literally were in shock at how quiet and well-behaved our normally rambunctious toddler was. From helping with pre-wedding prep, ceremony and reception care and post-wedding assistance, we would recommend A Child's Experience TOO to anyone with an upcoming wedding!     Our Vow Renewal Ceremony

    A Child's Experience TOO was an absolute lifesaver on our wedding day. Shatarra was so positive, flexible, and caring throughout the entire process. She is patient and passionate about working with kids and does everything with love! Shatarra helped keep our son entertained and happy during the ceremony so we could fully enjoy the moment, and even offered to watch him after so my husband and I could have some much-needed alone time. A Child’s Experience Too was invaluable and allowed us to fully be present on our special day. We can't recommend them enough!

We care for children from 6 months to 12 years old. Our activities and caregivers are matched to suit the age range of your event guests.
We customize staffing based on the number and ages of children attending. Generally, we follow a safe ratio of 1 caregiver per 3–5 children, depending on age.
We work with you and your venue to find a designated room or quiet area for the children. If space is limited, we create a flexible setup in a side area, tent, or suite or nearby hotel.
We bring age appropriate toys, crafts, games, books, puzzles, and even themed activities that can match your wedding vibe! We also provide soft nap mats, pack n play and calm spaces for little ones.
Yes! We are fully insured, and all of our caregivers are CPR/First Aid certified and have undergone background checks.
Yes! Our caregivers assist with diaper changes, potty breaks, and meal/snack time, as long as supplies are provided.
Absolutely. We offer ceremony only, reception only, full day, and even overnight packages to suit your event needs.
No, parents are free to enjoy the celebration. We stay onsite and provide full supervision, maintaining contact info in case we need to reach a parent during the event.
Yes, we provide light snacks and make every effort to include your child’s favorites when possible. We also take allergies and dietary restrictions seriously you’ll be asked to provide that information in advance so we can ensure safe and enjoyable snacking for all children. Note: We do not serve full meals unless provided by the host, but we’re happy to assist during mealtimes.
6-8weeks Please RSVP to the bride and groom for your own attendance as usual. If your child will be attending and using childcare services, you must contact and RSVP to A Child’s Experience TOO directly and to share important details like your child’s age, allergies, and care needs. We’ll handle all coordination with the couple or planner, but direct communication with parents helps us ensure the best experience for your child.
