Great but had hiccups

I feel very conflicted writing this review because Martha and Marisol are genuinely kind, caring people who clearly want their couples to have a wonderful experience. Overall, we do not regret choosing Got It Covered Catering, and there were many things they did exceptionally well. Our tasting was fantastic, and because we booked early, we received the champagne upgrade, which was a wonderful bonus. The food on our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations. We served the charcuterie board and beef lollipops during cocktail hour, followed by chicken parmesan, chicken caprese, and delicious sides for dinner. We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing everything tasted. Throughout the planning process, communication was good, and they made it very easy to make upgrades and adjust our package within the allowed timeframe. Unfortunately, we ran into significant issues just two days before the wedding. Despite confirming multiple times beforehand, the linens arrived in mismatched shades of white. Even more concerning, we learned that the table runners I had also confirmed several times had not actually been ordered because they realized they only had three in stock. Receiving that news so close to the wedding caused an enormous amount of unnecessary stress while I was already juggling final appointments and rehearsal preparations. To their credit, Martha and Marisol handled the situation with care and did everything they could to make it right. They quickly resolved the linen issue, made sure the runners arrived at the venue, and even set everything up at no additional cost. By the wedding day, everything looked beautiful, and our guests never would have known there had been an issue. While I do think there needs to be more attention to detail and stronger quality control during the final days leading up to a wedding, I also believe this was an honest oversight rather than a reflection of the quality of their food or their desire to serve their clients well. In the end, the food was phenomenal, our guests loved it, and the problems were resolved before the ceremony. I don't regret booking Got It Covered Catering, but I do encourage future couples to double-check IN PERSON final details with them as the wedding approaches.
