Food so good, chef got a standing ovation

There are legitimately no words for how amazing, delicious, outstanding and scrumptious Chef Trent’s food was. And somehow, that still doesn’t hold a candle to how kind, responsive and generous he is to work with! My husband and I had a really hard time trying to find food for our wedding. We have dietary restrictions and I have an onion allergy (they’re in everything!) so finding good food is often very hard. I also wanted to honor both of our roots with southern and Cajun dishes. I cannot express how much Privé Catering and Chef Trent knocked it out of park! Our entire wedding party gave him a standing ovation and I still get messages that it was the best food people have ever had. I still dream of the Mac and cheese! Guests didn’t even want cake because the bread pudding and beignets stole the show! I wish I had gotten pictures of the food to share but we ate it so fast! I cannot recommend Privé Catering and Chef Trent enough.

It was the GRITS

Chef showed up and showed all the way out! The food was absolutely incredible Seasoned to perfection, full of flavor, and truly satisfying from the first bite to the last. But let me take a moment to praise the grits because those grits were on a whole different level. Creamy, buttery, perfectly seasoned (chefs kiss) hands-down some of the best grits I’ve ever tasted in my life. If you’re a grits lover, prepare to be amazed. If you’re not a grits lover, Chef will convert you like he did me. They were that amazing. You can taste the Louisiana love, skill, and pride in every dish. Highly recommend Chef is the real deal! 10 out of 10.

There are genuinely no words for how incredible Chef Trent and Privé Catering were. The mac and cheese still lives rent-free in my head, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. The bread pudding and beignets were so incredible that some guests skipped the wedding cake entirely. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The true testament? At the end of dinner, our wedding guests gave Chef Trent a standing ovation. I’ve never seen that happen at a wedding before. If you’re looking for a caterer who delivers exceptional food, accommodates dietary needs without sacrificing flavor, and provides an unforgettable experience, stop looking and book Privé Catering. Chef Trent helped make our wedding one of the best days of our lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful. 10/10. Worth every penny.

We brought Chef Trent in for a dinner during our girls’ trip in Austin. Amazing food and Trent’s personality made the night even more fun. Truly a great experience!
