Bread and Butter Catering is my culinary love letter to my home of North Carolina. As a Durham native, I bring my deep roots of Southern hospitality with my years of culinary experiences ranging from Michelin level restaurants in San Francisco to fly fishing lodges of Alaska to being the Executive Chef for my home team Durham Bulls. Good food, and good service go hand in hand, and my team and I strive to bring both of those to your event.

We are well versed in various cuisines as well as having access to Kosher kitchens if needed. We specialize in custom menus that fit your tastes, budgets, and dietary needs. As a small business owner, I will be on site to make sure that your event goes to plan, and that every detail is carefully taken care of.

    Derek was wonderful in my work holiday party! So many compliments of the food, I was so happy! He was timely and cleaned up so well in our new office space. He had items for anyone with a dietary restriction and that was so helpful. He even brought some decorations in our company colors. I received wonderful feedback of not only Derek, but the company in general. He was knowledgeable and it was almost like he could read my mind. I don't have a bad thing to say :)
