Hello, my name is Missy and my husband Mark and I are the owners of Back Forty smokehouse. We have owned the restaurant in North Richland Hills for 13 years. We have catered weddings with 40 guests to 400. We have a 5000 square-foot restaurant and we offer free tastings for our couples. This helps you confidently choose your menu for your day.

We have done catering for 12 years and also owned a wedding venue for five years. We understand the importance of working with our couples as well as the venue itself so that everything runs smoothly. We are family owned, and our couples are not just a number to us. We are personally invested in your day.

    As a wedding vendor who has worked numerous events catered by Back Forty I can say I have always been impressed! Their food is not only fantastic but their service is above and beyond. They are always quick and efficient serving both small and large wedding guests lists and we look forward to dinner every time we hear they are catering! Highly recommended!

    Mark and Missy are so amazing and helpful. The bbq was soooo good. My guests can’t stop talking about the brisket and jalapeño mac and cheese which was definitely a crowd favorite. They also have a restaurant in North Richland Hills and the food and menu options there is PHENOMENAL! I recommend Back Forty for everything! Also, their okra is probably the best fried okra I’ve ever tasted.
