About this venue

Sparrow on Main is one of DFW’s newest and most unique event venues. Set in a restored 1920’s historic building in Old Town Lewisville, the exterior maintains its original architecture details while the inside has been transformed to a beautiful event space designed to work with a variety of styles. Our striking, exposed white brick walls and large windows make a beautiful backdrop to highlight your unique style and personality. Sparrow on Main is a ministry initiative of Sparrow Collective, a 501 c-3 NPO. 100% of all net profits from each event are given back to Sparrow Collective to empower women and to help meet the needs of those in the local community. It is a rare opportunity to celebrate some of your life’s best moments while also actively supporting the community.

    Wonderful experience!

    The Sparrow on Main was exactly what we were looking for on our big day! We couldn’t have asked for more kind and helpful staff! We would rate it 10/10 stars for the atmosphere and people alone! We got responses to ALL of our questions from Krista so quickly! We felt like they pulled out the red carpet for us!

    Sparrow is one of our most favorite venues to work with! Not only is the building absolutely stunning but the people are even more amazing! Attention to details, communication and a great working relationship makes this one of our all time tops! Sparrow on main is doing great things! We HIGHLY recommend!

Alcohol may be brought in by the host of the event, however all events of 75+ people or any event serving hard liquor must have a TABC licensed and bonded bartender (preferred vendor list available).
Parking at the venue is reserved for the event host and family, vendors, and Sparrow on Main staff. Guests may park in any public parking at City Hall or in spaces in Old Town Lewisville. A parking map is available upon request. Valet services are listed on our preferred vendor list.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Yes, our Complete Wedding Package is ideal for couples wanting to host both ceremony and reception at Sparrow on Main. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on Garden Patio while the Main Room is being transitioned.
Sparrow on Main will hire an off duty police officer for all events of 100 people or more and any event serving hard liquor
All rentals, personal items, and anything else brought in for your event must be removed from the space the night of your event. You or your caterer/vendors are responsible for collecting all trash from the Main Room and disposing it in the dumpsters located on the east side of our building. Cleanup of your items must be completed during your rental time block.
Yes, food trucks are very fun in our space! There are multiple option of where to have a food truck set up at Sparrow on Main.
The Huffines Suite is a larger space that is perfectly suited for a bridal party or green room. Complete with nearby restrooms and large mirrors, it is the perfect place to prep for your event. The Huffines Suite connects to the Main Room, but also has a private entrance on Main Street. The Mill Suite is a smaller conference style room that is available for the groom and his men.
We do have linens available for an additional fee. Glassware can be rented through your caterer or bartending service. For other inquiries or recommendations regarding vendors, please request a preferred vendor list.
Sparrow on Main will be responsible for setting up the tables and chairs we provide. At the conclusion of the event, Sparrow on Main will handle the breakdown of tables and chairs that belong to the venue. Should you choose to bring your own rentals in, Sparrow on Main is not responsible for set up or breakdown.
If after signing the contract the applicant cancels the booking more than ninety (90) days prior to the event date, the applicant will lose the rental deposit of (50% of quoted fees). If the cancellation occurs within ninety (90) days of the event date, the damage deposit will be refunded but the full rental fee will be retained.
Yes, however all candles must be contained in votives and the flame must be 2” below the top of the container. Open flames are not allowed anywhere in the building.
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings or on the Garden Patio. Smoking is only allowed outside the building in designated spaces.
Yes, currently you are allowed to use your own caterer (a preferred vendor list is available) at no additional fee. All caterers must be licensed, insured, and must have staff on site for the entire duration of your event.
There is a catering kitchen with a commercial grade refrigerator, warming boxes, sinks, freezer, ice machine and prep tables. We do not allow cooking inside the venue.
Yes. We highly encourage the use of an event planner or organizer as it will allow for a more successful event because they are experienced and well equipped for most situations. A day of event coordinator is required for all weddings.
No, any sound equipment must be provided by a band and/or DJ or other rental company.
Yes, you may only affix objects to the walls with painters tape or mounting putty. You are allowed to do draping and rigging from the wood and steel beams. We do not allow the use of glitter, confetti, stickers, or silly string. Rose petals, rice, bird seed and/or sparklers may only be used outside the facility, and must be cleaned up by the host after the event.
