Chef Burak
I have a passion for hospitality, outstanding service, and changing the reputation of wedding food... it can be memorable and delicious! I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.
We are a chef-owned restaurant and catering company with locations in Garland and Southlake, Texas which allows us to service the large DFW metroplex. Our team of chefs are classically trained in a variety of gourmet cuisines and started their careers in luxury resorts around the world. Our background in hospitality means that we are experts in crafting custom menus and coordinating event logistics. Our goal is to take the stress out of your food and beverage service.

Amazing Experience!
This is the second year we have used Ferah for our vent catering and it was simply wonderful! The food is always delicious and the service provided by the staff at the event is top notch! They are just a pleasure to work with from sales to the event. HIGHLY recommend!
Ferah was Perfect!
Ferah was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Excellent service from start to finish, our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and the entire process was really smooth. We’ll be back to their restaurant to celebrate our anniversaries.
Couldn't Have Asked for Better Catering.
We’re a little late with this review, but we had to share how amazing our experience was with Ferah Catering & Events for our son’s wedding celebration on June 14th. The food was seriously next-level — beautifully set up and absolutely delicious. Huge shoutout to Stephanie Ozcan, the catering concierge. She was super helpful, easy to work with, and made the whole planning process a breeze. Everything went off without a hitch, and our guests could not stop talking about how good the food and service were. If you’re on the fence about booking them — just go for it. You won’t regret it. Ferah Catering & Events is professional, trustworthy, and truly focused on making your event special. We’re so glad we went with them!
