About Ferah Catering & Events
Chef Burak
I have a passion for hospitality, outstanding service, and changing the reputation of wedding food... it can be memorable and delicious! I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.
We are a chef-owned restaurant and catering company with locations in Garland and Southlake, Texas which allows us to service the large DFW metroplex. Our team of chefs are classically trained in a variety of gourmet cuisines and started their careers in luxury resorts around the world. Our background in hospitality means that we are experts in crafting custom menus and coordinating event logistics. Our goal is to take the stress out of your food and beverage service.

Unforgettable Flavor & Heartfelt Service
Ferah was an absolute dream to work with. Chef Burak and his wife were a joy—professional, attentive, and completely on point with every detail. We had very specific requests: no seed oils, all organic ingredients, and a custom menu—and they delivered flawlessly. The food was exquisite. Guests were raving about everything from the appetizers to the sticky toffee pudding. Special shoutout to the sweet and sour brisket—a nostalgic favorite of my husband’s—executed to perfection. Ferah’s dedication to quality, flavor, and care made our wedding unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
Absolutely Phenomenal
Ferah Catering & Events exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. From the moment we first contacted them, the team was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive. Stephanie, Chef Burak, the bartenders, and servers were all incredibly personable, friendly, and prepared. Chef Burak even delivered the cake to the bride and groom personally, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the stuffed dates, gyro meat, and the quick bussing of the staff. We feel like we really got to know Burak and can't wait to return to Ferah as guests in the future. Ferah provided an amazing, full-service, and hospitable experience that made our special day even more perfect.
