We serve and deliver within the Greater Sacramento Area, Napa Valley, San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe Area, and beyond. We offer Custom Cakes featuring handmade sugar flowers, ornate details, and plenty of charm. All designs are individually tailored to your unique style and event day. For Weddings and Events, we also offer a wonderful Dessert Menu featuring French inspired classics and elevated childhood favorites.

Delicious & Beautiful
Palette Cakes was such a joy to work with for our wedding cake, and I can’t imagine our day without them. From the very first consultation, they made the process feel easy and exciting. They were incredibly communicative, always quick to answer my questions, and genuinely receptive to feedback. I never once felt like just another client—they treated me with care and attention, which gave me so much confidence leading up to the big day. The cake tasting was one of the highlights of wedding planning. Every flavor was delicious, but the almond cake with apricot filling completely stole the show—it was honestly the most incredible cake flavor I’ve ever tried. Palette Cakes made the experience fun and memorable, and it felt like they were just as invested in finding the perfect flavor combination as I was. On the wedding day, the cake was everything I had dreamed of and more. It was stunningly beautiful, decorated with intricate sugar flowers that perfectly complemented our florist’s arrangements. Guests couldn’t stop admiring it, and when we finally cut into it, the taste was just as divine as we remembered from the tasting. It was one of those rare moments where something looks too good to eat, but then tastes even better than it looks. What impressed me most was how Palette Cakes worked closely with me to ensure the cake fit within our budget without ever compromising on quality or artistry. Kellie was amazing, from the moment I reached out to her she was responsive, helpful, enthusiastic, and just such a dream to work with. Not only did she make a beautiful and delicious cake, but at the last minute we were also able to put in an order of shortbread for our coffee bar. Guests are still talking about how tasty it was. I cannot recommend Kellie enough for any couples in NorCal.

Palette Cakes is Amazing!
Palette Cakes was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, they were attentive, patient and truly understood our vision. Their communication style put us at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was simply outstanding - the cake was not only delicious, but also beautifully crafted and uniquely designed. They even came through for us with a last-minute add-on of custom mini cookies, which our guests raved about. People are still talking about the cake
Not only was our cake absolutely stunning, with sugar flowers that no one believed were not real, but it was also GLUTEN FREE!! Kellie was so easy to work with from the very start, with prompt emails and clear communication. We relied entirely on her artistry to design the cake and her art was one of the top hits of our wedding. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Beautiful and delicious
Kellie is not only an incredible baker but a superb artist as well. We first had her cakes at a friends wedding a little over a year before we got married, and knew from the moment, we tasted it that we were going to need her to make our cake as well. The process of working with Kellie was incredibly easy and super fun. She truly cares about all of her clients. She even hand-delivered our cake on our wedding day and stuck around to watch a bit as we took some pictures, it was just a super sweet touch that made the process feel really personal. We can’t wait to have her bake other goodies for big events in our future!
