About Helen Bernhard Bakery

Helen Bernhard Bakery

Helen Bernhard Bakery was established in 1924, beginning, as many bakeries did in those early days, by baking cakes for neighbors and friends. At the time, the Bernhard family lived in the house next to the present shop. Mike and Kellie Snaadt have run the business since 2010.

With our current decorating staff offer 60 years of combined experience and our bakers having over 100 years experience, we offer a consistent, high quality product based on you imagination. We walk you through the entire experience of tasting to the day of the wedding.

    Yummy and local

From start to finish, Helen Bernhard Bakery made our dessert experience wonderful. They listened carefully to what we wanted and gave us honest advice on what would look good for our cake and cupcakes. When our desserts arrived on our wedding day, they tasted as incredible as they looked. The quality of their work was truly exceptional, and every bite was delicious. We felt taken care of throughout the whole process, and their kind approach made planning this part of our wedding stress-free. We would absolutely recommend Helen Bernhard Bakery to any couple looking for desserts that taste as good as they look.

We make an extensive variety of cakes that are listed on the site. Due to the large batches we make we cannot make custom flavors. However, by combining our extensive list of cake flavors with our equally extensive list of flavored icings and fillings, you are sure to find a combination to satisfy your tastes.
We are currently working on that, due to the variety of combinations and options we offer, we can offer a more accurate price and feel more comfortable pricing items in person or over the phone.
Yes. Since bakery items are inherently fragile, we are limited in what can safely ship, but are happy to help you find an item suitable for us to ship for you.
