Q: Do you bring your own sound system?

Yes. Every package includes a sound system, a wireless mic for toasts and the ceremony, and dance-floor lighting, so your venue doesn't need its own setup.

Q: Can you cover our ceremony and cocktail hour too?

Yes. I only book full days, from ceremony to last dance, and I can run music in two spaces, like cocktail hour in one room and dancing in another.

Q: Do you really play vinyl?

Yes. Vinyl Night and Dancing Queen include dance sets mixed on real records and digital. Every package can also be all digital.

Q: Can we pick the songs?

Yes. We'll have a planning call, and you'll send must-play and do-not-play lists. I build the night around your timeline.

Q: Where do you play?

Philadelphia and the surrounding area. Travel beyond 60 miles from Center City is quoted on request.

Q: How far ahead should we book?

I can often take bookings with as little as a month's notice, but a few months out gives you the best chance at your date.

Q: How do we hold our date?

A signed contract and a $1,000 deposit hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

Q: Do you MC?

If you'd like, yes. I'll also set up your officiant, best man or anyone giving a toast with a microphone so everyone can hear.

Q: Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes. I carry liability insurance for every event and can send proof of coverage to your venue or planner once you book.

Loved the disco music!
Young Hearts Philly made planning our wedding so much easier from start to finish. They responded quickly to our questions and never left us guessing about anything, which took a lot of stress off our plate during the planning process. On the day of our wedding, they showed up ready to go and kept the dance floor packed all night long. The DJ read the room perfectly and played exactly what our guests wanted to hear at the right moments.
