Originally a house party/lounge/club DJ, I perform at select weddings in New England (MA/CT/NH/RI/VT) and beyond. My emceeing style is pretty low-key and I typically like to let the music do the talking.

I enjoy crafting dynamic set lists that reflect the personalities of the couple, their guests, and the vibe they wish to achieve. I love mixing music from a wide variety of genres and decades, making sure they flow smoothly and creatively.

    Mickey DJ’d my daughter’s wedding this past September. Prior to the wedding, he made himself available on a regular basis for texts and zoom calls to plan every detail out. On the day of the wedding, he was just a joy to work with! He had a very professional yet easy-going style and was chill, funny and modest and the guests all loved him. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. He blended all the different kinds of music together seamlessly, and kept everyone dancing! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! He absolutely made the wedding the success that it was, and we would hire him again in a heartbeat!

    Mickey made my wedding a dream come true this past weekend (10/25/25.) Music was one of my most important things when it came to my wedding. I wanted everyone on the dance floor all night long. I was VERY particular of what I like and don’t like. My do not play list was crazy long and I had a very specific vibe that I was looking for. Most DJs would get upset or shy away, but Mickey took my requests in stride and delivered on all accounts. His playlists were better than I could have ever imagined. He mixed music like we were in a club and kept the crowd engaged. Everyone was raving about how amazing he was. I truly can’t say enough good things about him. He was so nice and very easy to communicate with. We emailed, texted, and talked on the phone numerous times before the big day. He used the app Vibo which was super user friendly. I could not recommend Mickey enough for anyone looking for a DJ in the future.

    Mickey was a genuine joy to work with. He reached out to us for an initial check-in sooner than we thought was necessary and as soon as we got off that call we knew we'd hired the right guy. He heard all our requests, hopes, and anxieties, and he expertly worked with the playlists we gave him. There was not a single song out of place and the songs he brought in that weren't on our lists were perfect. He even scratched out a certain criminal's name from Kesha's song Tik ToK, which was exactly the right move for our crowd. Our guests are still talking about how great he was! Mickey also happened to be already familiar with our venue which took so much stress and additional communication off our plate. He crushed every possible aspect of his work and we're so grateful to have worked with him. We'd recommend him without reservation to anyone who asked.

    Mickey Grouse was an amazing DJ for our wedding. From the very first interaction, he was easy to communicate with, accommodating to our needs, and open to our ideas. Mickey’s demeanor and execution on the day of the wedding was genuinely impressive - he didn't interject himself at all and made it clear the day was for us and about us. Mickey was punctual, easy going, and absolutely crushed it. He kept our guests entertained and engaged all night long. The value he provided was incredible, and we couldn't have asked for a more flexible and genuine vendor to work with. Highly recommend Mickey Grouse for any wedding!
