About Michael Shingo Crawford

Michael Shingo Crawford

Violinist

I am a violinist, composer, and arranger who presents classical, popular, and anime music, as well as my original compositions, in a wide variety of settings, including concert halls, celebrations, and weddings. I work with musicians from Philadelphia and most commonly perform as solo violin, violin/cello duo, or violin/harp duo.

In addition to being a performer, I also compose and write my own arrangements. This means that I can offer music that you won't hear from any other musician. I have a wide-ranging song list that you can choose from and take requests for music that I have not played before but are meaningful to you. Using my skills, I can make compelling arrangements of these songs for violin or the ensemble of your choosing.

Easily one of the best vendors I had the pleasure of working with for my wedding. Easy going, responsive, and a master on the violin. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special.

We knew after perusing his YouTube channel and speaking with him briefly via phone that Michael Shingo Crawford was the perfect musician for our wedding. He was responsive, incredibly talented, and clearly passionate about his work. Michael was generous and accommodating, learning new songs at our request for the processional and recessional and playing outdoors in chilly conditions. The violin/cello duo's elegant performance left an impression on our guests, heightening the emotions of our day in a beautiful way. We will be forever thankful.
