Lovebirds--a truly phenomenal wedding band!
My husband and I attend a lot of live music, so we knew from the beginning that choosing an exceptional band would be one of our highest wedding priorities. We spent countless hours—well over a dozen—researching bands, watching performance videos, and considering options from New England, Canada, the UK, the Southeast US, and beyond. There were plenty of bands that seemed capable of creating a lively party atmosphere, but many left us underwhelmed: they could play a wide range of songs and keep a crowd moving, but they didn’t always have the musicianship, cohesion, or polish we were hoping for. Some even veered a bit too corny for our taste. Then we found Lovebirds. As Berklee College of Music alumni, they clearly had the musical caliber we were looking for; our only question was whether a four-person band could truly carry the energy of the entire evening and keep the dance floor full. We needn’t have worried. Lovebirds was absolutely phenomenal! We hired them to perform as a jazz trio during cocktail hour and as the full band for the reception, and they exceeded our expectations at every turn. They were communicative, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the planning process, taking our genre preferences and specific song and artist requests into account (while also honoring the artists and styles we wanted to avoid). Most impressively, they read the room beautifully. Early in the reception they gave us beautiful covers of Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, and more, but as the night wore on, they sensed the energy of the crowd and leaned into 90s pop—something we had not requested but that was definitely a guilty pleasure for our large group of 40-somethings and that instantly became a highlight for them. Within seconds, everyone was singing along, dancing harder, and having the time of their lives. Then later, after Lovebirds finished what we thought would be the final song of the night, the band recognized that no one was ready to stop and generously gave us one more unforgettable number so we could leave it all on the dance floor. On the shuttle ride back to the hotel and again at brunch the next morning, guest after guest told us how incredible the band was and how much fun they had at the reception. We felt exactly the same. If you are considering Lovebirds, book them—without hesitation. They are exceptional musicians, generous performers, and the kind of band that does not simply play at your wedding; they elevate the entire celebration. They will keep your dance floor full, your guests delighted, and your memories of the night even more special.

Awesome
We had them perform at a pre-wedding celebration and they were terrific. Great sound, dance beat, terrific vibe all around. Set list was really balanced with all music genre

The Lovebirds played at our daytime wedding and it was nothing short of perfect! I heard a demo video of them playing an Amy Winehouse song and knew immediately that I wanted to book them. I knew from the start that I did not want a DJ - I wanted laid-back jazzy, soulful vibes and they absolutely delivered. Karol, their drummer, was professional, reliable, and easy to work with from the start. We got so many compliments from our guests that they loved the music and the ambience. Highly recommend!! You will not regret booking them!

Wedding Vibes Achieved
Writing this positive review is one of the easiest things I’ve done this month! We hired the Lovebirds as a cover band for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour… outdoor festivities and achieved exactly the vibes we were looking for. My fiancé needed classy, sexy, fun, professional, English, Spanish, contemporary, and classic all in one group under a 10’x10’ tent… and we found it with this the Lovebirds!! No tent needed because nothing could contain the great vibes that this group brought. Highly recommend. Karol was easy to connect with via email and was straight forward in what they would be able to do. My WIFE and I will follow them wherever they go in the tri state area moving forward for years to come. 1,000/10

The Absolute Best Part of Our Wedding!
Lovebirds were one of our absolute favorite parts of the wedding. Karol was fantastic to work with, very responsive, and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted. They even played the song I requested (not a very well known, but our favorite) during the ceremony, which made it so special. They can really cover all of the classic wedding jams, but also a ton of our favorite jazz, rock and funk hits. What I loved most was how smoothly they moved through the entire day: starting with beautiful music on the beach for the ceremony, shifting to a funky cocktail-hour set, then elegant instrumentals for dinner, and finally fun dance music that kept everyone going all night. Guests kept telling us how much they loved the music, and it was an amazing dance party. We couldn't agree more. I would recommend Lovebirds to anyone looking for music that truly brings the day to life.
