Enjoy a fiddle duo including a 6-time national fiddle champion at your next event. Playing bluegrass, celtic, old-time and contemporary tunes you recognize, this duo will have all your guests stomping their feet. Traditional wedding repertoire also available. Ceremony + Cocktail Hour packages available. The perfect live music for your Texas wedding. Based in Dallas, open to travel to other cities.

Fiddling refers to a number of folk music styles. June Blount plays celtic, bluegrass, old time and many popular hits with a "fiddle" flair. We can focus on one style (irish celtic or bluegrass / bob wills) for your event.
Yes! We are classically trained and experienced classical musicians and can perform traditional classical music. We can incorporate many popular traditional songs for your event at no additional charge.
Both! We are best for either: ceremony + cocktail hour, or for for an event (such as backyard bbq, cocktail hour or house party).
45 min - 1 hour, depending on the venue and event as well as client preference.
Fiddling! Irish, Country, Bluegrass and popular hits (movie music, elvis, sinatra, etc)
Yes! Often we can incorporate your song of choice. An additional fee may be assessed on a case by case basis (for example, if we need to learn the song). We have MANY popular love songs / popular songs in our repertoire that do not require an additional fee. We will advise if an additional fee is required.
We can perform classical but also fiddle tunes which are very popular and can appeal to those looking to add a unique element to their event.
Yes, however, some songs do not "translate" as well if performed by two acoustic violins. We will work with you or advise if this is the case. We want you to recognize the song and some do not translate as well without a vocalist. If you can hum it and others readily recognize the tune, it is likely a fairly good candidate for us to learn. Also, we may already have it in our repertoire. Just ask!
Either all black or classic, on trend, coordinating outfits (casual or dressy per the event dress code) that will not distract from the event. We are happy to work with you depending on what you prefer. We have worn all black, sleeveless dresses, and university colors (in nice tops / jewelry) for various events. We do not have a uniform.
