About Catching Lightning

Collin, Catching Lightning

Artist/Performer

I am an Orlando-area DJ and producer focused on creating an unforgettable wedding experience. Since I was nine years old, I have been a pianist. I expanded into singing, producing, and later started DJing as a fill-in on JetStream Radio. From there, my love of performing and entertaining led me to DJing local events and weddings. In the years since, I have had the pleasure of DJing many weddings, parties, and events, and I now host a weekly show on Sky Blue Radio. I enjoy entertaining and creating a positive atmosphere and I always seek opportunities to share my passion with new people.

Booking me means you get a DJ with the following: 📅 19+ years of musical experience 💃 Deep, genuine passion for entertaining 💼 Clear communication and organization 💰 Simple, transparent pricing 💡 Professional sound and lighting, including uplights 👍 Consistently positive reviews 🎵 Comfort with a variety of genres

Amazing Experience!
We are so glad we chose Catching Lightning for our wedding! They made the whole process easy from start to finish and really listened to what we wanted. Every special moment was handled perfectly, and the music kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We've had so many guests tell us how much fun they had. If you're looking for a DJ who is organized, fun, and easy to work with, I definitely recommend Catching Lightning!

Such a great DJ to work with!
As a wedding coordinator, I appreciate vendors who are easy to work with, and Catching Lightning has been just that. He's communicative, stays on top of the timeline, and keeps the event moving without making things feel rushed. He does a great job reading the crowd and keeping guests on the dance floor. Working with Catching Lightning makes the day run a little smoother, is my first choice to recommend to couples looking for a reliable DJ.
