    The Life of the Party

From our first inquiry to the day of our wedding, Brian S. Graham Entertainment provided consistent, fast, and incredibly helpful communication. Their attention to detail and professional approach was truly impressive. Brian kept in constant contact through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings to ensure we got exactly what we wanted for our special day. On the wedding day, their work was exceptional. They kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last, reading the crowd perfectly and mixing in our favorite songs seamlessly. The energy they brought made the celebration unforgettable and truly electric. We are so grateful for the role Brian played in making our wedding day a night we'll never forget.

My uniform is a suit, unless otherwise advised by the booking party. Since weddings are my primary bookings, my attire is chosen to respect the event.
Requests are welcome! Your planning packet asks for music selections in categories: Must Play, Requests, Only If Requested, Do Not Play. I gladly welcome Spotify (preferred) or Apple Music playlists.
I can provide a complete, stand-alone, battery-powered ceremony system, which can be utilized most anywhere. Due to the fact that many plan ceremonies in fields, often far removed from a power source, my system allows music & microphones such that guests can hear everything at your ceremony. Typically I put a mic on the officiant, and the groom mic is recommended, but optional. I can also provide hand-held mics for those who may be reciting a poem or prayer or other speaking needs.
My services include a written & signed performance agreement, as well as having business liability insurance. My insurer will not insure me without the written, signed agreement, thus these go hand-in-hand.
What I do for you is based on your needs. As a trained Master of Ceremonies, I plan and guide your wedding day, start to finish, based on the services you hire (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception). I don't just sit behind my table and press play! As an MC, I work with other vendors, walk the room to ensure music volume, advise those presenting toasts on how to hold the mic and where to stand. Basically, I help you design the atmosphere and interactivity that will deliver the results you've already imagined.
Coming from a high school band background, my director had a saying: "If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late". My typical arrival time is 2+ hours prior to playing the first song, be that ceremony prelude or when your 1st guest walks into the reception. In some instances, I will show up 3+ hours ahead of time (ie. to setup ceremony, reception, and photobooth). I'd much rather be ready an hour before your start time than panicking 5 minutes prior to start!
Besides the typical reception DJ services, I also provide ceremony services, cocktail hour music, enhanced dance floor lighting, uplighting, and Photobooth. Other options can be added (Gobo, 'Dancing On The Clouds', Cold Sparks). Please enquire for availability and pricing.
I do not charge 'travel fees' for any event within 2 hours of my home base. If your event is more than 2 hours drive, I might add a small fee to cover the expense of a hotel room near your celebration, if it is better for me to do so, but I do not charge for mileage. I do my best to be fair about this and only add a hotel fee that matches a standard hotel room in the area, which is most often $150 or less.
It seems there are many entry-level DJs who 'rent' their music nowadays. Typically, this is done by subscribing to a licensed, online streaming music source for DJs. The only downside to this is, if they don't "own" their music (ie. files on their computer hard drive) and they "require" an internet connection, your event may not have music if there is no WiFi at the venue and a cellular hot-spot can't connect. I own an extensive library, from 40 years of collecting, and purchase any and all special songs I'm notified about, such that absence of internet, I'm not panicking or unable to access the music for your event!
