We've been rocking weddings for fun since 2001, as a full-blown, state-registered business since 2012. Providing the best value in entertainment you will find. You'll find CHEAPER, but you won't get more bang for your buck anywhere else. We have an experienced staff that I've hand-picked and personally trained, I supply all the equipment to ensure consistency and upkeep, and we have back up DJs and equipment in case of emergencies. As the owner, I'm involved in each and every wedding. This is how I make a living and put food on the table so there's nothing more important to me than you having the best possible experience.

    Very happy

    We didn't do anything traditional or on a schedule and they worked with it great. They had all the requested music, even some wacky stuff no one would know! Our DJ let us know when it was time to do things and how, and even when we were late getting the cake out - it helped a lot!

    The best in the business!

    I have been lucky to know and regularly work alongside John and the crew of An Affordable DJ for seven amazing wedding seasons. As a photographer I work closely with many DJs and I know that from organizing and personalizing your experience to keeping your guests entertained and engaged a DJ can truly make or break your celebration/event. With An Affordable DJ they get to know you and your style up front so you can relax and enjoy your wedding or event without worrying. An Affordable DJ has one of the cleanest setups around so there's never a worry on my end about angles I can't use because they're full of wires and electronic mess. An Affordable DJ has been heading the list I give my clients of preferred vendors for many years and you can trust them to take care of you too.

    Affordable Entertainment - Excellent service

    I can't recommend John and his crew enough. We purchased dj services and the photo booth. The photo booth included an album of all the pictures taken at the booth along with props. The DJ was outstanding. We also had edited songs and he was able to play them with no issue.

We always ask for special requests in advance so we can ensure a hard copy of all songs are on our drive (we never rely on WiFi). If you have a request that we may not have, we'll be sure to add it to our library for you.

Many multi-DJ companies are simply a group of independent DJs that decided to work together and share bookings. I own my business and have DJs on my payroll that use my equipment and follow my direction to ensure we offer consistency to all of our weddings.
ABSOLUTELY. You can even provide an advance request (or even DO NOT PLAY) list. Some clients have even supplied a list they wanted for the entire evening. You have as much (or as little) control over your playlist as you like.
Absolutely. We have separate portable systems to take a smaller footprint as well as eliminate the delay between different parts of the evening due to having to tear down and reset.
ABSOLUTELY. If you're looking for something we may not be entirely familiar with we'll discuss and either learn from you or honestly decide if we are a good fit or not for you.
Yes. Fully insured is MORE than just liability insurance. FULLY INSURED means our equipment and people are insured to get quick replacement when needed and to ensure our business stays healthy - even through times like pandemics. We do carry $2,000,000 in liability insurance as well.
We are eclectic. We bring a professional, cheese-free, yet fun approach. We get as involved with your crowd as they do with us. We don't try to be the center of attention on your big day.
We typically arrive 1 to 2 hours before the set start time depending on the services booked.
YES - social media walls, cell phone charging stations, photo booths, glow batons, and much much more!
$0. We only charge for travel if the event is more than 50 miles from our office in Hartville. Then it's $50. There is no charge to set up or tear down.
DJ aren't required by the state of Ohio to collect sales tax. If you speak with a DJ that is charging tax - he is simply inflating the amount going into his pocket. PHOTO BOOTHS DO require sales tax collection and it is based on the rate in the county where the event is taking place.
