Azure strings - a music ensemble based in Northeast Ohio - creates exceptional music for discriminating private and professional clients. The group was founded in 2010 by violinist Mary Bontrager. For over ten years, the group has delivered customized professional music for a variety of events and venues. The members of Azure Strings are highly skilled musicians whose competence is apparent at each performance.

Azure Strings specializes in playing live music for weddings, corporate events, parties, and more. We believe that there is no substitute for a live musical performance and that nothing could make your event more special than hiring live musicians. We work individually with each client to ensure a perfect and unique playlist.

    Azure Strings Made Our Day Magical

    Azure Strings was absolutely wonderful! They played as a three-piece string ensemble at my son's wedding and truly made the day even more special. Mary was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She made the booking process easy, maintained excellent communication throughout, and was incredibly accommodating. We had a special request for "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" to be played as the ring bearer and flower girl walked down the aisle, and Mary was more than happy to make it happen. The music was beautiful and added so much magic and elegance to the ceremony. The musicians were professional, talented, and genuinely kind. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Azure Strings for any special event. They exceeded our expectations and helped create memories that we'll cherish forever!

    Highly recommend Azure Strings

    I recommend booking Azure Strings for your wedding. You will not be disappointed. They did an excellent job, and it really elevated the ceremony. I booked the quartet for our wedding ceremony. I only regret not recording the music via our videographer.

    Wedding Duo

    We loved Azure Strings for our wedding! They played the whole prelude and ceremony. We gave them a mix of song choices, all of which they accommodated and also added in a few extras that fit our style. Friends commented on how perfect the music was!

    Azure Strings. Excellence personified.

    I hired Azure Strings after interviewing 5 or 6 other ensembles for my niece's wedding. From the initial correspondence and phone conversations all the way up to and including the day of the wedding they provided prompt, thoughtful, and helpful responses to all of my concerns. Mary, the first violinist, took care of the venue choice and acoustic requirements therein, making for a seamless integration into the wedding ceremony. Further, she graciously helped out with the music selection across several genres of music. (They even allowed me to accompany them on several songs on guitar as requested by the bride.) And then the day of the wedding--The music was several orders of magnitude beyond exceptional. Outstanding, first-class, extraordinary beyond my wildest hope. The whole timbre of the service was raised to a much higher level. It was perfect in every way. I am so thankful to Azure Strings for making a special day even more special.
