“I first came across Fairview Green River on Zola and reached out for pricing. Based on the initial information, I assumed it would be outside of our budget. I even scheduled a tour but nearly canceled because I didn’t want to spend another Saturday touring a venue my fiancé and I felt we couldn’t afford. When I contacted them to cancel, they encouraged me to keep the appointment—and I’m so glad I did. At the time, we didn’t have a wedding date, and Fairview happened to be offering a discounted rate for a Saturday wedding along with several perks we couldn’t pass up. That completely changed our minds. We attended one of their fairs to try the food, and honestly, I had mixed feelings at first. By that point, we were already committed to the venue, so I was hoping for the best. I shared my concerns with Sandra, who was our main contact throughout the process. She walked me through other menu options and reassured me that we would love the food—and she was absolutely right. The vendors they work with were wonderful. Tasteful Cakes, Ivy & Co, and The Southern California Wedding Guys were all responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Pricing for add-ons was also very reasonable compared to vendors I had researched on my own. Day of the wedding: Our day-of coordinator, Darian, was amazing. She stayed calm, organized, and collected while making sure the entire wedding party had everything they needed. Sandra also checked in on me throughout the day, which I really appreciated. During cocktail hour, the Fairview team had drinks and snacks set aside for us so we could enjoy some time and take our sunset photos. When we returned for our grand entrance, our dinner and drinks were already waiting for us at our table—such a thoughtful touch. We truly had the best night ever surrounded by our favorite people. And the food? AMAZING. We chose the American package with prime rib and a carving station. They also offered Italian and Mexican options, but the carving station sealed the deal for us. The only downside was that we only had access to the venue two hours before the wedding. A third hour would have been ideal. While I could have paid for the extra hour, I do feel this should be included. For reference, we chose the all-inclusive Elite package. A few helpful notes for anyone considering it: Flowers are partially included: table centerpieces and the ceremony arch are covered, but bouquets and boutonnieres are not. We purchased those separately, and their pricing was very fair—much more affordable than other florists. The DJ package includes the DJ only. Lighting, fog, and sparklers are upgrades. We chose to upgrade and were very happy we did. There are no additional cake fees, and the cake options were great. Our friends and family are still raving about the food, cake, DJ, and overall experience. We are so happy we chose Fairview Green River and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event.”

“A week before our wedding, we found out our event coordinator at the hotel we had worked with for a year was no longer there. When we arrived, the support team had about 4 days to learn about everything we had in place and take a years worth of planning and make it happen. I am so grateful to say that team did it! They whipped those four days into shape and created a beautiful wedding for us. Huge shout out to Maria and Liz who worked with our week of coordinators to make sure everything was perfect. There’s definitely some room for improvement in regards to staffing properly but overall we had a beautiful service and a fantastic reception and the staff at the saguaro did an amazing job! Also, there’s not a lot of venues where you can say the food at your wedding was fantastic and they did such a great job. They have a fantastic kitchen at the Saguaro. The Saguaro is not in any way a perfect place, but it is a place you choose because of the vibes and the warm hospitality of the team. We look forward to always visiting the Saguaro every time we come to Palm Springs and now we have a very special occasion we shared there to also remember it by. Thank you!”

“Our experience having our wedding at Big Bear Mountain Resort was absolutely amazing!! From the planning to the venue to the staff to the food, everything was fabulous. Here is the breakdown of our experience: Planning Process: Working with Elizabeth, the BBMR coordinator, made planning so much easier. She was super responsive - always quick to reply to emails or texts - and really helped me think of details and questions I might have forgotten on my own. She kept everything organized and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks, which made the day feel completely stress-free. The Venue: The locations we used were beautiful and worked really well for our wedding. Ceremony (Top of Chair 2): Taking the chairlift up to the ceremony was a fun experience that our guests really enjoyed. The ceremony site has a gorgeous view of Big Bear Lake and is surrounded by trees. The wooden arch they built was a nice touch. For ADA guests who couldn’t take the chairlift, BBMR can drive them up, which was great. Cocktail Hour (Hog on the Rocks): The cocktail hour deck had amazing views of the San Jacinto mountains - it felt like we were on top of the world. Even though it’s up on the mountain, we had an open bar and a tasty charcuterie board for everyone to enjoy (I’m pretty sure you could choose to do hors d’oeuvres up there too, but we didn’t personally choose that). Reception (The Meadows): The reception area at the base of the mountain was cozy and inviting, with string lights, fresh mountain air, and a roaring fire. It was a great space for everyone to relax and have fun. The Staff: The staff were fantastic. Guests commented multiple times on how friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful they were, and how they really helped make the day run smoothly. The Food: The food was really good - definitely better than what you might expect at a mountain venue. We went with the Timber Ridge menu (salad, tri-tip, garlic-roasted chicken, vegetables, and thyme-roasted potatoes), and it was all delicious. They were also flexible with dietary restrictions, which was helpful for some of our guests. The Price: After looking at a bunch of other venues, I felt like BBMR was the best value for the quality of the venue. Preferred Vendors: BBMR’s preferred vendors list made choosing vendors easier. We used the photographer and bakery from the list, and both were excellent. Lee Stockwell captured beautiful photos, and the strawberry champagne cake from Sister My Sister Bakery was both delicious and a hit with our guests. The Extra Touches: BBMR went above and beyond with adding little details that made the day feel complete—directional signs, lanterns on the tables, themed cake-cutting utensils, and even gold sparkles in the signature cocktails. Those small touches really added to the overall experience. So basically, I would 100% recommend BBMR for your wedding!”

“Booking this home was an easy procedure start to finish, they were one of the only vacation rental companies who would allow us a small event on property. Paige, specifically was so responsive and made sure to have all the accurate details for our stay and really made us feel comfortable throughout. The property was as pictured, maybe even more beautiful and surpassed our expectations. The front patio area served well for our cocktail hour while the lounge area down the stairs served as our ceremony space. Perfect size for 24 people intimate wedding.”

“I’ve spent a lot of my life looking at structures and solutions, but what happened at Jackalope Ranch for our wedding wasn't about the architecture of a building—it was about the architecture of a soul-level experience. We came into this day looking for something authentic and grounded, and what we found was a crew that didn't just "work" an event; they cared for us like family. Amidst record, unseasonably hot weather that could have easily derailed the outdoor spirit of the day, the staff ensured every moment felt effortless. Erinmary and Destiny were quiet anchors. We never had to look for them; they were simply there, anticipating needs before they were even spoken. Lillian and Gilbert are names we will carry with us for the way they treated us - we will say hi from now on when we see them. My friends and family haven't stopped talking about the food—several people told me it was the best they’ve ever had at any wedding, period. Even as someone who isn’t a drinker, I heard nothing but praise for the bartenders and the spirit they brought to the house. There is a weight to a day like this, a vulnerability in standing before those you love. Jackalope Ranch gave us the room to breathe. Whether it was the privacy of the events room to cool off, the stunning backdrop for our first look, helping to arrange the seating and tables or the photo shoot at the bar, they gave us the run of the place with our best interests at heart. We felt like celebrities, but more importantly, we felt seen and supported. I suggested they could say they "put the elope in Jackalope," but for us, they put the heart in it. It was flawless, honest, and truly unforgettable.”

“December 6th 2025, my husband and I had our dream wedding at The Mitten Building in Redlands. The venue itself gives a warm welcoming rustic vibe, with lots of brick and exposed rafters. For the holidays they give this vintage centennial building a beautiful make over with garlands, wreaths, Christmas trees, and soft glowing lights. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. From the moment we booked the venue until the day of our wedding (a whole year and a half later) We were in communication via email, phone calls, and friendly text reminders for upcoming deadlines and appointments. The staff was very organized and accommodating. The fact that the kitchen and catering is some of the best food we ever had is just a bonus! Thank You Mitten Building Team!! **photos: @LoveStoryPhotography”

“We had our wedding at the Barton House and had a great time! We liked that they have bride and groom suites inside to get ready. It made everything convenient! The lawn with the string lights is such a great vibe. We especially loved that they’re open to outside vendors! So many places require you use their specific caterer, but we preferred to pick our own. We were able to have our favorite pizza pop-up caterer and churro truck! The venue was also reasonably priced compared to others in the so called area. The only thing is it’s outdoors only, so if you’re concerned about weather you may need to get a tent. But they have preferred vendors they can share for that. Great for intimate garden style events!”

“We had such a beautiful wedding at Miller’s Landing and are so grateful to the entire team. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and from the beginning, the planning process was smooth and enjoyable. Communication with Kellan was excellent throughout the process, and John and Terri were also wonderful to work with—always kind, attentive, and helpful. We also loved the venue’s recommended vendors, who all helped make our day so special. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the end of the evening felt much more stressful than expected. After celebrating all day, we had to help pack, load, and remove all of our personal décor that same night. We had understood the décor would be packed and ready for us to load, but instead several of our family members and guests ended up helping pack everything before we could leave. Unfortunately, some of our personal décor items were also damaged during the packing process, which was disappointing since many of them were sentimental. One suggestion I have for future weddings would be to allow couples to pick up their packed décor early the following morning. On the morning of our wedding, there was already a venue tour and another couple’s rehearsal taking place, and the staff handled both so seamlessly that we barely noticed. Since the venue is already in use the next morning, offering a short pickup window for the previous night’s couple could make the end of the wedding day much less stressful without disrupting operations. Overall, none of this takes away from how beautiful our wedding day was or how much we appreciated the Miller’s Landing team. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable and would absolutely recommend the venue to couples looking for a stunning place to get married.”
