“Garrett Goerl is the best photographer I have ever used. He was incredibly professional, respectful, fun, and talented. My husband and I do not have much experience in front of a camera, and tend to dislike getting out pictures taken, but Garrett made us feel at ease and also helped us feel more confident in our photos. All of the wedding guests we had had nothing but positive and excellent things to say about Garrett. I also ended up getting fairly sick on my wedding day, and Garrett was not only very flexible with the schedule that became in flux because of this, but also, photographed me so well you couldn't tell that I felt like fainting all day, lol. I appreciated working with him, he was kind, flexible, and hilarious. The pictures came out beautifully and I love that we have so many great photos in our possession now. “Savannah & Rui were the first “vendors” that we booked; I hate to even refer to them as vendors because they were so much more! We felt at ease with them from the very first phone call and had no doubt that they would play an intricate part of our special occasion. They went above and beyond to assist in various aspects of the planning process and offered guidance when we faced uncertainty in making decisions. We were especially opinionated about how we wanted the photography to be done and they absolutely nailed it. They utilized a mix of digital, analog, black-and-white and video to document our multiple events. They provided us with some “sneak peeks”, which have held us over until we are able to see the finished product. Their easy-going attitude was a breath of fresh air when things didn’t go according to plan and, honestly, it played a big part in keeping us both calm when tensions got high. We cannot recommend them enough and have already referred several of our friends to utilize them for their weddings and events.”

“I booked my wedding on very short notice. Churon just happened to have a cancelation. And boy did I luck out. The venue was beautiful. But the best was Meilee. She is their in-house coordinator. Her “can do” attitude was so refreshing. She was prompt. She was courteous. She gave me great recommendations. And worked with me always to find ways to do what we needed or wanted. In the end the venue was stunning. I couldn’t have been happier. The food was really good. The rooms were huge. It was awesome. Highly recommend.”

“So happy with WW. They answered all questions I had throughout the process and were easily accessible. The Retreat was such a beautiful venue and they did such a great job. A lot of our guests said “it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to”. Super on top of it! I’m a little neurotic with planning in general and they followed instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond. Only issue - don’t get Tom as your DJ, or else you’ll be disappointed because he doesn’t do remixes or follows instructions diligently. He was good at making announcements, but as far as music goes, I would have been better off playing music off of my phone. They have a DJ that you’re required to use as part of the package because it’s in a residential neighborhood, but they do have other DJ’s aside from Tom. Otherwise everything else that WW did was fantastic.”

“I originally booked collective glow because I did NOT want to deal with a separate hair and makeup vendor- I was just over it at that point in planning lol. Their communication style was thorough, quick, and super fun to work with- exactly what we needed to feel at ease during the busy day. The quality of their work and value was amazing, as they were incredibly flexible and great listeners. We ended up running behind due to nothing in their control, but they were so chill about it that I didn't even know we were off schedule. They kept everything super professional and just kept moving everyone along, which worked great because we had some extra buffer time planned in for exactly that reason. These girls listened really well, helped to make sure I was comfortable with the look we were creating, and made step-by-step adjustments or increases in certain things so we could fine-tune exactly what I wanted. “We worked with Ellen about a year ago now and I kept meaning to leave a review, then forgetting, then feeling awful because working with her was AMAZING. I contacted her and asked if she would be able to do a maternity shoot with my husband and me in Death Valley. We arranged everything and even though the weather was windy and somewhat cloudy, Ellen made it work! My husband is not a huge fan of having his photo taken but while Ellen was friendly, she was also down to business and directive (which I asked her to be), and my husband and I both loved how helpful and specific she was. When we got the photos back, I honestly couldn't believe how cool they looked. We are definitely not models but the photos Ellen took belong in a magazine! She told us exactly how to stand, what to do with our hands, where to look, how to swirl my dress, etc and we truly couldn't be happier with the final product. It took me so long to write this review because soon after we got our photos, I had a baby! But I wanted to finally do this because looking back at the pictures we took a year ago brings back so many wonderful memories, and I am truly thankful that we were able to book Ellen. “I was just recently married in June of 2024 and I. Chose California Ranch Company as my wedding venue. I had visited many different wedding venues from packages, to total DIY, to garden scenery versus barn scenery, etc. It was a long process, but my husband and I decided to go with CRC during our first tour of the grounds. There a beautiful variety of nature, scenic outlooks, and character on this property and it’s paired with a comfortable farm style environment. The three most important factors for my wedding was allowing enough room for my guests to walk around without feeling restricted, a green/natural environment that photographs well, and a comfortable area where my guests can let loose and have fun. Oh and a barn. This venue checked all of my boxes out of the gate. I loved getting to see the horses and farm life on the property, many of which made an appearance in my photos. The packages were also very reasonable for someone wanting to save money with a DIY wedding but doesn’t want to start from the ground up. I had all my personal vendors chosen based on preference, but the venue was already set up to host guests. It was a perfect happy medium. I also want to make a point of noting how helpful and amazing the staff members are at CRC. It felt very warm and comfortable collaborating with the team and they went out of their way to make our jobs planning easier. Tracey was my personal coordinator and she made sure that my wedding day went through without a hitch. I am beyond happy with my experience at the venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a western barn themed wedding filled with personal touches of character.”
