I'm Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville, (call me Jeff) a retired Navy chaplain with 26 yrs military service and real church pastor (not just ordained online). I can lead a highly customized & personalized wedding ceremony at a winery, golf club, beach, on a military base or in a hot air balloon! Or if you just need to be quickly/legally married very inexpensively, I do that too! When you contact me you will quickly receive detailed info, a sample but customizable ceremony, and offer times for a free consultation by videocall to answer questions about levels of service (Gold/Silver/Bronze), the fees, OPTIONAL Premarital Counseling and more!

My military chaplain background enables me to lead large groups of people with confidence and I know how to serve couples from many different Christian faith backgrounds (Roman Catholic, Protestants of all types). Every ceremony has faith-based elements, but we can dial that up or down, you can write your own vows, have a sand or wine-blending ceremony, and many more choices. I can lead parts of the ceremony in Spanish or German! For full-scale weddings (Gold/Silver level), I invite couples to my home in Temecula to meet in person and have a mini-rehearsal, just the 3 of us.

    Most Organized Officiant

    Dr. Jeff was such an amazing person to work with. I am all about paying for quality, and I feel like I got what I paid for and more. We initially decided to choose him because of how organized he was, this is something I care deeply about so it was nice to see how dedicated he was to staying organized for his customers. We began with an initial video call to do introductions, and he made the interaction feel like I was talking to a friend. We picked a package where my now husband and I had a mini rehearsal at Dr. Jeff's home in Temecula. This felt so personal and was ultimately super helpful to ensure we knew what to do on the day. We also hired him to do the formal rehearsal at our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Without this, I honestly am not sure how I would have been able to wrangle my wedding party. Dr. Jeff is so knowledgeable and truly thought of everything! He even let us choose the outfit he was going to wear, this is something I didn't even consider, but it was really so cool to be able to choose. The ceremony went so well and everyone thought he did an amazing job. He worked closely with us customize our ceremony and gave us all the tips and tricks to have a beautiful ceremony. Overall, I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jeff. He is by far one of the best wedding choices I made. If you are unsure about spending the money for a quality officiant with a kind heart, I am telling you that you should take the leap. We did and we are so thankful we did!

    Not as Expected

    Jeff did take the time to get to know us and coach us through a video call beforehand, which we appreciated, but the wedding day experience itself didn’t feel as well communicated or organized. He came into my bridal suite while I was getting ready privately with the women in my family. I’m not sure if someone directed him there, but instead of just checking in or excusing himself, he asked to use the bathroom. While I understand these things happen, it felt unnecessary given that there were other restrooms available at the venue. The ceremony also ran longer than expected, and I lost focus in the middle of it. He included stories and topics that didn’t feel aligned with what we had envisioned, such as talking about Disneyland, going on about how you won’t always like each other in marriage, and inviting guests to come to God if they felt convicted, which felt more like a church service. While none of these things were major issues on their own, we had chosen him in part because he emphasized having a script, so we expected him to follow it more closely. After the ceremony, he also spent quite a bit of time directing the photos he wanted, and we eventually had to step in to let him know we needed to move on to family pictures. Overall, for his pricing we expected it to be more of what we discussed.

    Personal, Professional & Truly Meaningful

    We cannot recommend Rev. Jeff highly enough. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make our ceremony truly special and personal. He took the time to get to know us through video calls and thoughtful email planning, offered incredible guidance, and shared unique, meaningful ideas for our vows that made the ceremony feel completely us. Rev. Jeff even traveled quite a distance for our wedding, wore the outfit we requested, and calmly coached everyone just before the ceremony so they knew exactly what to do—which made everything run seamlessly. He provided a speaker and microphone setup so all of our guests could hear every word, and he led the ceremony beautifully with warmth, confidence, and professionalism. As an added bonus, he took and sent us a few photos from the ceremony, which we truly appreciated! His presentation, preparation, and genuine care made our wedding day unforgettable. If you want an officiant who is organized, thoughtful, and truly invested in making your marriage ceremony meaningful, Rev. Jeff is the one!

    We love Jeff!

    Without a doubt, Jeff was the best investment we made for our wedding and for our marriage. With Jeff we invested in our marriage with his premarital coaching. Wedding planning can be stressful, and this coaching and relationship homework kept our minds on what was truly important. We met regularly with Jeff via video calls, and he graciously welcomed us into his home for our first coaching session and later for a ceremony rehearsal. The mini-rehearsal was incredibly helpful! He even taught us “the dip” at the end of the aisle, which we practiced together leading up to our big day. On the wedding day, Jeff arrived early, dressed to impress in an outfit of our choosing, and led the most beautiful ceremony. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed. Personally, I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and joy on the morning of our wedding—something I truly believe was made possible by Jeff’s preparation, guidance, and genuine care.     Jeff was great!

    Jeff was a pleasure to work with. We found him by researching Christian weddings officiants online. He put in a lot of time and effort meeting with us multiple times while we were out of state. The walkthrough at his home was great and gave us a very good idea of how the day would go. On the wedding day, Jeff delivered on everything we asked. He was very confident and did a great job during the ceremony. We are very grateful for him!
