Greetings and congratulations to you and your future spouse! Your guests will feel smooth vibes during your reception dinner or cocktail hour as I provide mellow live sounds from my acoustic and electric guitars. Have a favorite song you want to hear? Chances are I can learn it in time for your event!

There are no shortages of bands or DJs who provide hard-driving rock, blues, overwhelming bass beats or grating raps that are likely not what you have in mind for your special day. I provide relaxing alternatives to all of that. I specialize in jazz standards, classic acoustic pop, smooth jazz tunes, and mellow (yacht?) rock tunes that will add a pleasant background ambience for the two of you as well as your guests. Description

Up to 75 minutes of live acoustic and electric guitar instrumental background music. No vocals, just subdued guitar tones. Will provide necessary amp, instruments, and microphone as needed. Dress will be casual or suit per your request.

    Perfect Beach Ambience!

    We hired Matt to provide the "behind the scenes" instrumentals for a marketing event for some of our newer clients. It was ideal because we didn't want vocals or a loud, "high energy" band. Matt provided a list of laid back songs and added flavor without adding stress!

    Perfect Dinner Background

    I'm a wedding planner and Matt was recommended because my client wanted subdued but live music during her reception dinner. He was the right choice! Matt's repertoire of laidback songs added a welcome backdrop for my client's special day. He was completely "self-contained"; providing mics, amp, guitars, and cabling. He played for over the hour that we agreed on, as the dinner went over time but it wasn't an issue. Will use him again!

Yes, I can sometimes add one or two songs (that I may not already know) to your event. As long as 1) you're not expecting Eddie Van Halen and 2) there is sufficient time before your event.
I do not charge additional fees beyond my standard charges. Travel, set-up, and break-down is all included.
I prefer to specialize in playing during cocktail hours / receptions, dinner gatherings, or other small-scale events where a full band or DJ may not be appropriate or desired.
It's up to you! I will wear a suit if desired; if not - I tend to wear jeans and "corporate casual" attire.
Because of the types of music I play and "background" situations where I tend to perform, I stick to a repertoire of music that is well-received. However, if there are one or two songs you want to hear and I don't know them, I will make an effort to learn them for you.
