I spent my first year after college in New York City working as the Creative Director for a startup in the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship. However, it inspired me to return to my roots, prepared to build my own independent photography business.

Owner Avery Echols began his DJ career almost by accident. His entry into the business began with managing music for a friend’s reception. At this point, Ace Wedding DJs was born. As Avery’s business grew, he brought in his brother Wes and best friend Landon Bell. Together, this talented trio works hard to bring the dreams of soon-to-be newlyweds to life. In addition to fueling the dance-floor and and crafting ambiance through music, the DJs also serve as MCs with natural ease and charisma. They ensure that introductions, announcements, and transitions run smoothly.

When I was 12 I saved up my babysitting money to buy my first 'big time' camera. I formed Arrae Photography in 2003 as a part-time venture while I worked at local photo labs, went full time in 2008.

From ripping up magazines, photoshoots with friends, the rise of Tumblr & Instagram, to taking a 35mm black & white film photography class in high school, going on to get my BFA in photography, and establishing my business - photography is truly in everything I do.
