“My husband and I had a wonderful evening the DJs played music that kept people dancing. They read the room well and lowered the volume during entrees. They worked well with the Maître D keeping the night on schedule. We also had there lighting which was great worked well with our while vibe and the mirror photo booth which we loved and was our favor. We have been to two other wedding they were the DJ for and loved them and why we wanted them for ours! The team is lovely. Pricing is also good!”

“Worked with Matt and the GBE team for my wedding in September. We worked closely with Matt (our dj/MC) since the first introductory call and he was so friendly and SO helpful throughout the whole wedding process. We loved that there was a questionnaire to fill out about any detail you can think about for the wedding (a lot of ones we didnt even think about until seeing it on the questionnaire!). After completion of that and about 1-2 months before the wedding we had another video call to review everything and Matt listened so well to our taste. He understood what songs we wanted to be played and what were absolute no's during the wedding. Whatever you wanted - he will listen! Now to the wedding day. We pretty much did not leave that dance floor, only to breath and get a drink here and there because you gotta rest. Voices were lost by the end of the night and that is the best sign there is to a great night. The music was amazing. Vibes were spectacular. Lighting was great. Such a great dance floor and music!!! He also had 2 other guys helping out and they were an incredible team! They bring the energy to the wedding and it was just absolutely amazing. We also did the Photo Booth through them and the quality of those pictures were amazing!!! Also the man running the Photo Booth - he was AMAZING. Sometimes you run out of poses when doing the Photo Booth but this man did not let that happen! He guided you on what pose to hit and it was so helpful. That could be looked at as a small little help but it's such a BIG help. The Photo Booth had a line all night long. We also did the late night snacks (Wendy's) and the guy who set up and manned it was so incredibly nice. He did a great job and kept whatever we wanted off to the side so he was sure we were able to get some ourselves and not miss. It was the perfect touch after hours of drinking to have that snack when leaving.”

“Jeanyo Entertainment couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding! To start off the communication from the beginning of booking until the day of the wedding was responsive. Jeanyo was attentive our music taste and really wanted as much input from us as possible. We knew Jeanyo was going to take his duties seriously when he scheduled a zoom meeting between us and the wedding planner. He really used this time to pick our ear music wise, get our "Do Not Play List", and get our "Must Play List". The equipment the Jeanyo used was top notch. The audio was loud and clear for the outdoor ceremony. The timing of the songs that we selected to play for the bridal party, groom, and bride was seamless. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to incorporate specific audio files that we personally sent him. Where Jeanyo really shined was the reception!!! Since the music started and dinner was served, the dance floor was never empty the entire night. A lot of my guest came up to me saying "that was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe a big part these reactions to Jeanyo. Jeanyo not only perfectly incorporated our playlist into the reception, but his MC skills was on point. Hyping the crowd up, giving instructions on specific songs, announcements without interrupting the vibe were some of the MC skills he exhibited. Despite it being a reception he really gave it that high end club like feeling. The Mix of the music really united the diverse crowd, but really had people out of their seats when he tapped into the south Florida/Haitian Music. I still remember when Jeanyo got on the mic and said "Alright everybody we have 30 Minutes left". I genuinely couldn't believe how fast time was flying because we were having too much fun. We were recommended to Jeanyo by a friend of ours who had him for their wedding, and we are lucky to have gotten that recommendation. 5 out of 5 stars from the wife and I. We highly recommend Jeanyo for your wedding or any event the requires a DJ/MC.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We got married at The Bonnie in Astoria in August and LOVED our DJ, Jen Jones. We did share a number of playlists with her and she got the vibe we were going for and picked the exact right songs each moment of the night including one of my parents' favorite slow songs which I didn't even think to mention. We also had some friends play live music for our ceremony and Jen was very helpful meeting with them beforehand and communicating directly with our venue the week before the wedding. We had some technical hurdles/transitions that Jen managed perfectly. I wanted a specific transition from a video I showed and Jen was able to transition from it very smoothly! She also was very aware of the vibe. I was so lost in the moment I lost track of time and she was very on top of making sure we got all of our scheduled plans done! We had a big range of ages at our wedding and a consistently packed, high energy dance floor thanks to Jen's work! Non-Traditional Wedding DJs was easy to communicate with and the worksheet provided helped us a lot, especially since we did not use a wedding planner. Would definitely recommend them no matter what you are going for!”
