My husband and I chose the Envue Hotel to be our all-in-one wedding venue and hotel room block. We actually signed our contract two years ago when a different management team was in place. After signing the contract, a new management team came in, and we could not have been more amazed with the level of service. It truly was a blessing in disguise. Chris and his team are truly one of a kind. From day one, Chris jumped in and truly became a partner in our wedding planning process. He was not only great at communicating, but also open to collaborating to make it the day of our dreams. I feel like so many venues we visited put numerous restrictions in place, but Chris listened to all of our ideas and was open to executing on our vision. He advice and guidance was so reassuring throughout the entire process. The venue itself is STUNNING. I can’t even express how many compliments I received from our guests. “This is the most beautiful venue I’ve ever been to” and “This is the best cocktail hour I’ve attended” was uttered all throughout the night. The fact that guests could dance at the reception, and then step outside on the balcony made it such an incredible reception space. Everyone loved it! Edwin was our Maître D. He was so friendly and detail oriented. I didn’t notice a single thing that didn’t go the way I wanted it to, and I know it was because Edwin was running a tight ship behind the scenes. The food was incredible and the bartenders were so friendly. Ali handled our room block, and I was also so pleased with the level of communication. Ali was responsive and accommodative of our requests. I didn’t hear a single complaint about the check in process, and the rooms were updated, clean, and beautiful. The Skyline Suite is also perfect for those “getting ready photos” the morning of J All in all, I think the Envue is a hidden gem of a wedding venue! With the ferry right in front of the venue, you can have all the perks of NYC while avoiding the craziness. Thank you, Envue and Team!

Glasshouse Chelsea was the perfect backdrop to our wedding day. Although the weather was perfect, this venue's value is its beauty in every weather and in every light of day or night. We worked with both Chelsee and Nikki and they were both professional and gracious. Their communication style was direct, prompt and transparent. Nikki even found us cocktail napkins at the last minute, helping the bar service. The venue itself, both the 21st floor and 14th floor, was stunning, upscale and practical. At first, I thought that elevator traffic might be an issue, but it was seamless throughout the night. The balcony was the perfect golden-hour-to-sunset photo background and proved to be a nice respite from the dance floor throughout the night. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

New York, NY
  • Up to 75 guests

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,500

A vibrant and unpretentious West Village restaurant and wine bar with the best by-the-glass wine list in the world. Our food menu is Mediterranean-inspired and includes an eclectic assortment of small, but shareable bites. Our space is ideal for parties and receptions, but due to its floor plan, does not lend itself to wedding ceremonies or presentations where sight lines are critical.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Creates a sense of togetherness
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No on-site bridal suite

As I planned our surprise engagement, I wanted to choose a location to go after that moment to celebrate with a larger group of friends and family that resonated with both of us, so our local wine spot, Temperance, was perfect. Having no idea whether they would even consider a private party I reached out through an email on the website and quickly realized how kind and accommodating the staff was. We were able to rent out the back patio and fully customize the space with our own set up and outside decorations. As a part of the space rental we were allowed an allotment of more than enough food and, more importantly, a customized collection of reds, whites, oranges and rosès. I’d recommend letting the staff pick the specific wines, they’re the experts after all (they did pick one special wine just for us and immediate family based on my specific request, but I like to pretend that was just for me). It was the perfect place to celebrate with around 25 of our closest friends and family. The one downside was they have a hard cutoff of 10pm due to some vocal neighbors but the staff was very upfront throughout the booking process that that was going to be the case, so there were no surprises. Additionally, because of how much we love the aesthetic inside near the bar and the room fronting Carmine Street, we also asked if we could start our engagement photo shoot at Temperance before they opened one night. Once again, we were met with a staff that went out of their way to help us anyway they could and even gave us a glass of wine each to take the edge off of some poses that feel extremely ridiculous in the moment, but turned out to be great pictures. We were as happy with those pictures as we were with both of those experiences at Temperance.

We had the best night of our lives at Peasant celebrating our wedding. We chose this restaurant because we always loved the food and romantic cozy atmosphere. When we had to quickly pivot our wedding plans to a smaller venue (4 weeks from our date!), they were our first call. The team at Peasant sprang into action and delivered the wedding we always dreamed of. We had our ceremony in front of the beautiful brick oven. We barely decorated the space because it's already so gorgeous. Our 70 guests sat at long tables for an incredible family style meal. The space quickly transformed into a dance floor, and a friend of ours DJ'd our favorite music. If you're looking for an intimate venue where you can relax and soak up the pure joy of your wedding day, Peasant has the vibes. Our guests still rave about the rigatoni alla vodka, the espresso martinis, and the kindness of the team months later. We keep going back for dates because we can't possibly get enough, and Peasant will always hold a special place in our hearts.

From the moment we reached out, their team responded within the hour (or less) and worked with us to nail down every detail—from the flowers to the final setup. The open plan layout is perfect for weddings, giving you flexibility to create the exact vibe you want, and their staff was attentive throughout the day, making sure nothing fell through the cracks. What really impressed us was how reasonable their pricing was and how willing they were to work with our budget without cutting corners. We'd recommend Maxwell Alley to any couple looking for a thoughtfully designed space with a team that actually cares about making your day special.

The Foundry is a beautiful venue and so easy to work with! Angela and Lindsey were so helpful and responsive. We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful setting, it was just perfect. My ONLY complaint is that even though they do not book any other events for the same time, they charge extra to book any rooms in addition to the main space and courtyard.

We had a fantastic experience with Ravel. Everyone was exceptionally communicative and accommodating throughout the process and on the day of, especially our coordinator Eman. She stood out as a queen of logistics and made me feel like the planning process was always under control. The bridal assistant, Jade, was fantastic to have nearby on the day of, and Joe, who handled setup, was also a standout. Our guests raved about the food and the view. Overall, the aesthetic of the venue was an incredibly backdrop to our photos, and it really set the tone we were hoping for. Our reception was in the penthouse, and the glittering skyline really made the party feel sophisticated and chic, and unlike any other wedding I’ve been to. We ended up with 150 guests, and the room felt full in a lively way without ever being overcrowded. We had some concerns about the hotel after reading reviews, and those concerns were promptly alleviated. They even upgraded our room to the top suite, which was the perfect size for 9 women to get ready on the day of. Would definitely recommend this venue, especially a reception in the penthouse if it fits your guest count.

We got married in June at GOC and it was the best day of our lives in every way, largely thanks to the hospitality from the GOC crew. If you're contemplating having your wedding here, DO IT. Truly unreal experience from start to finish. In the months leading up to the wedding, Stella, Chloe and Joe were so flexible and made themselves available every step of the way. From our food tasting, to tap/ cocktail selection - we really felt like we had complete agency. The GOC team helped us build a menu with all of our favorite foods. Everything was so delicious and fresh - so many people complimented the food. Food and drinks were plentiful. The bar staff was lighting fast and had plenty pre-poured - I don't think anyone waited for a drink for more than 5 seconds. Stella was a HUGE support in working with our various vendors. She integrated sweet little personal touches all around the venue - from our table number, to the menus. It feels like she thought of everything. We felt so supported every step of the way. We had our 120 person ceremony on the roof, cocktail hour downstairs, and dinner / dancing upstairs. The space is so flexible and comfortably fits more people than you'd think. We had a full band, a packed dance floor, and still somehow plenty of space to roam. The team flipped the space SO fast between our ceremony and reception. The skyline and bridge view made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony. The staff made sure we had drinks in our hands, and plates at our table. when we went upstairs We were truly blown away. The space is stunning as it and requires so little decor , if any at all. We loved that GOC has table cloths/ chairs/ tableware etc. It's really tough to find a true full service venue in NYC. They really can do it all, which allowed us to be present and focused only on having fun that day. I could go on and on and on, but I'll finish by saying that I'd be happy to talk to anyone about our experience because it was truly so perfect.

Our guests were enchanted by the skyline views and the delicious bites and drinks. Everyone was very impressed by the turnover from ceremony space to reception. It was incredibly quick and smooth. The team was a well oiled machine, They handled every transition and any small hiccup with precision and grace. The personal attention given to the couple throughout the reception was greatly appreciated. The attention to detail day of was a wonderful contrast to their more hands-off approach to the pre-planning. The front desk staff at the hotel provided exceptional service from handling questions about the room block to tracking down and setting up a pack and play for the littlest guest. Every staff member that we encountered was professional, warm, and welcoming.
