“Nick is a gem!! We are so thankful that he photographed our wedding. My partner and I had a lot of requests, and Nick accommodated them all while never making us feel difficult. He listened carefully to what was important to us - for my husband it was not stopping the party to take pictures and for me it was LOTS of candids of our loved ones. Somehow Nick made it happen!! We got gorgeous photos of the two of us just being ourselves with each other and amazing dance floor shots of our guests having the best time! With no posing!! The colors in the photos are fantastic -- even though Nick does AMAZING work outdoors he makes indoor photography feel just as special. Upon first meeting at our complementary engagement shoot (which is an awesome perk by the way), she was kind, chill, organized, and helped us feel far less awkward about posing for photos. We got some awesome shots at Craggy Pinnacle, some of which turned out so picturesque that my mom asked if the mountain cloud background was photoshopped! Carly was very proactive in the weeks leading up to the wedding itself. “Laren Rose Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, Laren was thorough, sympathetic, timely, and encouraging-- and that continued throughout the entire process. Her creative, documentary, artistic, and intimate approach to capturing our wedding was truly unique. It was exactly what we were hoping for! Laren made being in front of the camera feel comfortable, easy, and fun. Almost every shot, she was encouraging us, finding ways for us to be silly so we felt less stiff, and coming up with wonderful ways to include even guests outside our wedding profile. For candids, she was low profile but somehow managed to be absolutely everywhere, capturing all the important tiny moments that made our day so special.
