“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“We had Nick Wright as our "master DJ" for our June 2026 wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Nick was AMAZING - he was open to every genre of music; including k-pop, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, video game music, early 2000s, and more! He walked us through the party pleasers app, which was fantastic. You could upload full spotify playlists straight into the app. The app also breaks down each section of wedding day for every song you may need (ceremony, cocktail hour, cutting the cake, dinner, dancing, etc.). Nick was super nice and was able to do our sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, full dinner and reception, and our grand exit. He was open to all our suggestions; and he brought up things to decide that we hadn't even considered! During the wedding, Nick made sure to check in with us personally and made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend party pleasers for the large selection of rentals, lighting, and their amazing DJs -especially Nick! Lastly, Nick was an amazing "game show host" for our scavenger hunt - we made sure the musical chairs were ready, mc'd the entire hunt, and played a different song for each item! The music was amazing - he played all of our must haves, followed our do-not-play list, and had some amazing early 2000s hip-hop mixes.”

“The Bluewater Kings Band provided what truly felt like white glove service to make our wedding dance floor exactly what we wanted. Ryan was extremely responsive over email and our phone call before the wedding allowed us to lay out what we wanted the experience to be. In addition to how easy it was to work with them, their performance was spectacular. They were professional, polished and musically phenomenal. Their set list truly sounded like we had hand-picked every song (we only gave them a list of our favorite types of music and they knocked it out of the park). We leveraged the piano player for our ceremony music and it was beautiful and a nice touch at a reasonable price point as an add-on.”

“These guys are total pros. Not just for playing good tunes that kept the dancefloor occupied the whole time - but for keeping the ceremony running smoothly, helping with gathering people for photos, making announcements and overall just adding really good energy to our wedding. From the early planning stages right up to the final song they were effortless to work with. They start by getting an idea of what you want for your event and learning more about you too. They have easy forms to fill out that cover everything, give a reasonable quote then touch base with you leading up to the event to make sure everyone's on the same page. The DJ (Eric) was super skilled and able to really focus on making the music shine (ceremony cues, fade-outs, transitions, etc.) because the MC (Jaylin) took great care of any crowd-work and making sure everyone involved knew what was coming up next.
