The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

We offer a classic Vermont farmhouse in an idyllic setting. Nestled along the Mad River, a stone’s throw from downtown Waitsfield, we delight in offering a rustic-romantic setting for events from casual to elegant and everything in between. Declare your vows under the open sky in our expansive meadows. Celebrate your special day with family and friends in our rustic barn pavilion. Dine on a locally sourced artisanal meal served from a roaring outdoor wood-fired oven, wood-fired smoker & grill. Spend your wedding weekend with your loved ones in our charming country Inn.

Our gorgeous country estate set in the heart of Vermont is the backdrop for your curated celebration. Curated just for you, our experienced team handles every detail of your weekend so that you can enjoy your wedding from the first hello to the last kiss goodbye. Local foods are crafted into a meal you will be proud to share with your family and friends.

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.
