After a perfect trial with Heather and Suzy, I was so relieved and confident about working with them on my wedding day. After the trial, I made a last minute change on my hairstyle for the wedding by deciding I wanted a flower crown, and took a leap of faith in hoping that Suzy would be able to help put it on me during a very tight window as a surprise for the ceremony. I mean it to my core when I say that I could not be more elated about how it all turned out. Suzy absolutely crushed it. Heather completely understood what I was asking for and flawlessly executed it. They both listened to my requests and feedback without judgement and did an amazing job. I also really appreciated that they both heard me when I let them know I was introverted and probably would want to use my hair and makeup time as a social battery recharge opportunity rather than engaging. I really felt like they respected this and did not take it personally, and I never had to remind them of it. I even noticed how they adapted their engagement depending on which people in my wedding party they were working on. One of my bridesmaids is much more extroverted and I overheard her having a wonderful conversation with Heather. The trial went well and she made sure that I liked how everything looked. Everything on the day of the wedding looked as expected based on the trial. I hardly ever wear makeup and asked for a more natural look and it turned out perfect! I also have fine hair and was worried about having volume, but Rita was able to make my hair look thicker than it is. Both the hair and makeup lasted all night and still looked good after being done around 12pm. We had 6 people getting services and everything was done on time by Rita and her assistant, she provided a schedule so that I was able to let people know when they could arrive. “I booked JSL for my wedding and do not regret it! I decided to do the bridal package and it was so so worth it. My engagement photos were stress free and I felt like I looked wonderful. It was also a chance to get to know my artist and them know my hair/face (I had Judy :)). Then I had my trail and wedding day still! Those touch ups wow did they come in handy….
