“I used Heather for our chuppah rental for my wedding at Windham Manor. I saw her brown bark chuppah on Instagram and immediately knew I had to have it. Heather was amazing to work with and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so in love with how it turned out. She even helped me customize the wooden platform from another one of her rentals to work with our chuppah and give me the exact vision I wanted. She was also super flexible. I was slow to decide which location at the venue I wanted the ceremony at and she did not rush me at all. I ended up wanting the ceremony on the grass and the venue said the chuppah would have to be taken down the same night if we were to be allowed to do this. Of course Heather said this would be no problem at all and was immediately willing to stay and do this for us. They day of our wedding ended up being a bit crazy with on and off rain but Heather was totally calm and go with the flow while the planner worked on making the rain decision. She also attached a family tallis to the top of the chuppah and it stayed perfectly, despite the not ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend working with Heather!!!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. The quality of their work was truly amazing - the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and toss bouquet they created were all high quality and absolutely beautiful. They brought my visions to life perfectly. We planned for a galaxy theme and she even was able to create flowers that went perfectly with the theme! I had requested no greenery and she made sure to use lavenders and blues as fillers instead! She listened to everything and took the time to really put together an amazing set for my special day! Such a sweet and talented team to work with, they made the entire experience wonderful. I cannot recommend 1824 Farmhouse Creations highly enough!”

She was collaborative throughout the process and easy to communicate with. At our wedding rehearsal, I realized I forgot to order extra flowers to serve as our offering to Mary at our Catholic wedding. “Tanya was great!! We first learned about her from a party our wedding planner threw and I knew right after that, Tanya would be the perfect person to help bring some color and pop into our wedding. The initial call with Tanya was educational. She is so knowledgeable about the flowers she works with and allowed me to look up the florals she was talking about to see if it would be something I would like. At the end of the call, she let me know that she would put a vision board together to send over for me. She let me know that might take a couple of days; it didn't. Within 24 hours she had it to me to review. That type of customer service is hard to find, but it is so appreciated! Throughout the planning process, Tanya kept in contact to see if I wanted to stick with the original plan, or change certain elements. There were times I had questions and Tanya answered them with lightening speed. As always, she was professional, knowledgeable, and educational. For our wedding, we went with bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, wine barrel arraignments, and flowers for bud vases. Tanya was not able to make it to our event, but she had her mother take her place and communicated this with us and also our wedding planner so we knew exactly what would be happening. Every arraignment was stunning and our flowers stayed alive for a week after our event so that we could continue to enjoy them. Overall, Tanya is fantastic and the florals she using are stunning. We are so happy we decided to go with her for our big day!”
