Ive known Lisa and the team at Central Florist since I was little, so choosing them was a no brainer, as they have always DELIVERED on every order we've made. However, I can not say enough amazing things about the flowers Lisa created for my wedding. From the table runners, to our arch, the flowers for our groomsmen, bridesmaids, parents, and myself.....I was blown away. My bouquet was absolutely perfect and had all of the touches I had asked for and more. I couldn't recommend Central Florist enough, not only for the quality of the work but for the quality of the owner and employees. They truly made my bridal dreams come true!

I don’t even know where to begin. From the moment we had our first meeting to the very end, Nicole and the entire team were exceptional. I was a little lost with what we wanted for our wedding and even changed my mind a few times but Nicole and her team were patient and beyond helpful. They were just as excited as we were with the mock ups and their communication and guidance is unmatched. Day of the wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everything was immaculate, even better than I could have imagined. I was moved to tears when we saw the reception area. Hello! My name is Albelisa and I am the Owner and Creative Director at Maple Field Floral! This is a business I officially launched in 2017 and it has been an absolute joy to work with flowers in celebrating so many happy occasions! After being hired to make bouquets and centerpieces for a friend's wedding in 2016, floral arranging became a passion for me! I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Floral Design program at the New York Botanical Garden. I LOVE exploring the Hudson Valley, spending time with my family, playing sports and staying active, reading, board games, DIY crafts, sketching, old buildings and mojitos!

Albelisa and the entire Maple Field Florals team are just simply amazing!! Albelisa did the best job at guiding us through the design process, providing suggestions on how to execute our vision and ultimately turning our pinterest board into a full reality. Her kindness and responsiveness throughout kept us as ease and so reassured the entire time that we made the right choice. The final product exceeded our expectations even more than we could have imagined and we are so grateful to have had Albelisa and the team be such a special part of our love story.

Dean Street Daisies
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Tuckahoe, NY

Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio on the Hudson River in Irvington, NY where I live and create in a converted chapel with my husband and two cats!

Awarded Best of Zola
Where to even begin? Dean Street Daisies completely brought our wedding to life. From the subtle details to the breathtaking pieces at our ceremony site, the flowers were everything we could have hoped for and more. When we first started planning our wedding, florals were honestly the part we felt most unsure about. We had seen so many ideas on Pinterest, but none of them felt quite right or like “us.” It wasn’t until we spoke with Karina that the vision for our day really began to take shape. She was kind, curious, and took the time to truly understand our vision and what mattered most to us. Even when we didn’t fully know what we wanted, she asked thoughtful questions and helped us build a plan that felt completely aligned with who we are. We had this fuzzy idea of something eclectic, forest-inspired, colorful, and warm, and Karina helped bring it into focus. She made the process not only easy but genuinely fun and exciting. We looked forward to every call with her. And on our wedding day, we were completely blown away. The flowers were stunning, vibrant, textured, joyful, and grounding all at once. They tied everything together and created a setting that felt truly magical. On top of her artistry, Karina is one of the most organized and communicative people we worked with throughout our planning process. She was always timely, clear, and thoughtful in every interaction. All of our other vendors commented on how amazing she was to work with. She was professional, calm, prepared, and just so easy to collaborate with. And honestly, she is such a fun, uplifting presence. That made a huge difference and helped everything run smoothly. If you are lucky enough to work with Karina and Dean Street Daisies, take it. She brings not only incredible creative and artistic talent, but also a heart and presence that made our day feel authentically us. We are so grateful.

Sylvia and her team did an amazing job with the flowers for our October wedding. Everything was stunning- especially the installation pieces she built for the ceremony and photo booth backdrop. I loved that she worked with another local maker to custom design the vases for the tables. She even sourced some of the blooms from her own micro flower farm!

We hired Michelle to design our wedding flowers this past Fall. She did an amazing job! From her first email to the second I saw my bouquet, she was kind, full of creative ideas, and right on our budget. She designed the most beautiful flowers for us that I've ever seen! Everything was perfect. I still get teary eyed thinking about my bouquet and the amazing chuppah. My favorite thing about her is that her studio only books one wedding a weekend. Some florists I was talking to said they do up to 5 in one day! That's crazy. I felt secure knowing that my wedding was the only one that her and her amazing staff were working on. Her attention to detail definitely showed! Hire her, you won't be disappointed.

Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Tuckahoe, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Our wedding was held at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in June 2024. Kate was such a pleasure to work with and really brought our floral vision to life! I appreciated her free excel planning tools and how responsive she was from our first inquiry. After our first phone call, I realized that she is incredibly easy-going and down to earth, in addition to being well-organized. These are qualities you want in your wedding vendors. I have always loved florals and she helped me craft a vision that stayed within our budget. Our theme was coastal vineyard - I wanted the vibe to be loose & romantic without veering too rustic. She found this balance perfectly! On our wedding day, she arrived early and took care of everything quietly without a hitch! I didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't recommend Fountainhead Floral enough!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Tuckahoe, NY

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

It was a pleasure working with Sonya and her team for our big day! From the initial phone conversation, she made sure to listen to what we wanted and came back with recommendations that really brought it to life. She ensured that we stayed within the budget parameters we set by providing various options of things we could do but, making sure everything was still of the highest quality. She even worked with our schedule to come meet us at the venue with samples to finalize all the details. A few days before the wedding we ran into a small issue around the Chuppah structure we chose and she made sure to call us right away to explain the situation, and came up with alternative solutions that did not require any additional charge. The finished product was beautiful. I’m still getting compliments on my flower arrangements a month later!! If you work with Sonya and her team, you won’t be sorry!

Loved working with Isabel. She had great suggestions for us when we came in with a vague vision, and stayed super-flexible and kind through every stage of the planning and execution, even helping fashion a last-minute unplanned corsage just before the aisle walk. She helped connect us with a flower recycling service as well, in response to my wish for a sustainable event. The end result was lovely. Couldn't have asked for better than Isabel!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lorrie, and we loved the flowers and decor she created for our wedding. We weren't the easiest clients, as we were quite indecisive at the beginning. We bounced between wanting a minimalist all-white look and introducing various colors since we didn't have a strict theme. Finally, just a month before the big day, we settled on a complex palette with several specific colors. Despite the late change, Lorrie was calm and professional. Her support was invaluable; she sent timely follow-ups and was a grounding presence when we were scrambling behind the scenes to figure everything else out. She took our final color decisions and matched exactly what we had envisioned in terms of the colors and the ratios of each shade. Beyond the centerpieces and bouquets, Lorrie also provided a chuppah in a beautiful copper base. When the final florals and decor arrived, they were stunning and truly brought our whole aesthetic together. If you're looking for a florist who is patient, a dream to work with, and incredibly talented at executing complex color requests and providing crucial support, hire Style & Vine!

Shannon and Three Roots were amazing to work with! You can see from the photos (By Jessie Barentsen) below how absolutely stunning our florals were on our day. Throughout the whole planning process Shannon was so easy to communicate with and always had very prompt, timely responses. She was able to take my thoughts and visions bring them together and to life. She was very detail oriented down to having me select ribbons and vessels for our bouquets and florals. She sourced the most beautiful candles and bud vases for us as well. We had some last minute cancellations and cut down 2 tables and she worked with us to reallocate what we had paid for those tables to florals elsewhere in the space to not lose out. On our day there was so much love and hugging the groomsmen boutonnieres were falling off before the ceremony and she made new ones for all of them and placed them on. I cannot recommend Shannon enough!
