“DJ Brandon was top tier. Seriously. I could not recommend him enough. We communicated with him over email and just once over FaceTime and he just absolutely nailed everything the day of. He was so dialed in with the music, he would literally be changing the keys of the songs to seamlessly flow into the next song and he never let a song play for too long. We had so many people on the dance floor and I was so shocked at just how many of my guests weeks later just continue to gush over how good he was. Also, even after my husband and I did our exit I heard there was a ton of people who got back on the dance floor which is exactly what we would have wanted! I literally never write reviews but I was compelled to write this because he was just THAT GOOD. Kind, hardworking, communicated well but didn't need too much from us the day of which is super helpful. Anytime I needed a quick change he was on it. He listens and his ability to read the room is unmatched. He also just always kept the energy up so much. If you ever need a DJ, please go with Brandon and Prestige. “I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”
