“My husband and I were paired with Jacob through a third party company who he was contracted with at the time of our wedding. He was our videographer, and boy are we thankful we had him. I told him from the start that I knew essentially nothing about weddings/what I wanted to capture for mine, etc. He sent me a full, detailed schedule the next day based on past weddings he had shot at similar locations. And this is the first time I thought, "man, this guy is an angel!" (Let me tell you, it's the first of many times throughout our experience working with him!). The day of our wedding he was totally prepared, organized, worked hand in hand with our photographer, and made everyone around him feel comfortable being around a camera. He is a pleasure to have around! Many months after the wedding, the third party company who was supposed to take the footage Jacob provided and turn it into our wedding video went out of business. They did not provide us the videos we were promised. We had no access to our footage. It was like the entire day was taken from us! So, I emailed Jacob in hopes he had our footage. Again, like an angel sent from heaven, he DID. He put it together for us and man, his camerawork is STUNNING. I cannot recommend him enough!!! Thanks Jacob for literally saving the memories we thought we lost forever. You rock.”

“We can't thank Adam and his team at Doubleknot enough! Our wedding was attended by 150 people in upstate New York including a church and reception venue. We hired Adam and his team for photography and videography. He even gave us a complimentary engagement shoot! Since our engagement shoot we were happy with Adam's photography. He took us around a park in Brooklyn. Adam's friendly nature and clear direction made us feel comfortable as a couple who aren't used to being in front of the camera. We got some amazing shots that look natural and beautiful. We really enjoyed Adam's creativity and spontaneity. From the very early morning of our wedding Adam and team were professional, timely, and respectful. The Doubleknot team followed our run of show and were organized. We had two teams of photographers and videographers for the getting ready portions of the bride and groom. It's such a treat to look back at all the bridesmaids and groomsmen preparing for the big day. We love how candid and perfectly captured these moments were. Even the smaller moments seemed special like all the wedding details and the trip to the church. Adam and his team got all the big moments perfectly as well. From walking down the aisle to the I do's the team got everything. We appreciate all the formal family portraits as well. Everyone we wanted photographed was photographed and we now have plenty of photos to gift to our family. Adam and his team did a great job giving us enough time between enjoying our guests and being photographed especially during cocktail hour. We have plenty of beautiful photos of us on the venue grounds while also not missing out on our wedding. While we mingled with guests and enjoyed cocktail hour the team got great shots of our venue, food and guests. When it was time to dance we were happy with how much personality was shown in the photos of our guests and how much fun we all had. We love the sweet photos of all the speeches, flower toss and cake cutting. The team was flexible in staying past what we had previously agreed to so we got plenty of photos and video late into the night. We received our photos and video in a timely manner and even some beautiful photo books. We would definitely recommend Doubleknot. We're so grateful for all the happy memories we now have of our wedding and are so impressed with the quality and creativity of their work!”

“Music was the #1 most important part of our wedding. Our goal was to make sure no one left the dance floor, and we had an extremely high bar and specific vision for a DJ for our wedding… Davey met and exceeded expectations, and I’d throw another party just to hire him again. He was extremely helpful, available, and consultative throughout the process, which was immensely valuable because we planned the wedding from out-of-state. We wanted a party that started with familiar songs remixes into house music so that the family members could dance to something familiar, and get progressively more dancey throughout the night- and that’s exactly what we got. He’s adaptable and ready to read the crowd to keep everyone involved, which we really appreciated, and was a big priority. He puts the couple first and is very intentional about making sure the night goes smoothly and as expected. It was a party with exactly the right music, and Davey kept everyone dancing- even my 82 year old grandma. We selected Davey because of his knowledge of our music taste (he’d even played some of our favorite NYC clubs), but in referencing him it was clear that his capabilities were not limited to this style- I talked to two other couples who were just as excited about Davey as I am, but with pretty different taste. As we worked with Davey and got to know him, it also became apparent that he’s just an excellent human being, and brought such good vibes and energy to our wedding just for being who he is. To anyone considering, I could not recommend Davey more. We were close on using another vendor whose package included lights, but I’m glad we did not. The lights we would have received were auto-sensing lights that “sync” to the music- but from what I’ve seen, those lights are frenetic and unreliable. We spent some extra money investing in proper lights (Davey helped with a few introductions), and the combination of Davey’s skills and professional lighting transformed a standard wedding to a disco nightclub.”

“Manny was one of THE BEST vendors that I hired for my wedding! From the moment that we met at an open house, he was incredibly professional, warm and kind, and the most supportive person! I also really was drawn to his photography style, which was bright and colorful and had amazing composition. Upon hiring him, he provided the most detailed photography guide I’ve ever received with a myriad of wedding tips so I was already so impressed from the very beginning. Manny both took my bridals and did photography for our wedding. For my bridals, we were looking to do a Spanish vibe and so we planned a location in San Antonio that was colorful and vibrant. The day of, he was quick on his feet to pivot plans when our original location ended up being too crowded, and I actually ended up LOVING our second location even more. During the entire session, he had so many great ideas for poses, and also helped my mom get involved while she helped me with my dress. The shots he took blew me away! The colors, the poses, my dress, the flowers - he captured everything so perfectly! Come wedding day, Manny and his assistant were so on top of every single moment and pose - making sure that we captured all the important moments and the fun little ones in between. He had so many ideas for things to capture and helped my bridal party and family with a variety of poses. My bridal party raved how much they loved Manny and how comfortable he made everyone feel while taking photos. Wherever we were, there was Manny or his assistant making sure they got the shot. We got the sneak peeks a week later and the full set almost two months later and again, I was blown away with all the photos!
