From the moment we met with Doug, we were impressed by his prompt communication, experience in the industry, and great sense of humor. I knew that my pop loving self would be fine with most things but we truly just needed to make decisions. With just 3 weeks left, we only had two songs picked out, but Doug was firm yet funny in saying "How about you two use this time to knock out the songs?" He met with us a week later and went above and beyond to help us finalize our playlist. His app saved our brain and was so easy to select songs, move them into sections and add notes like parents names or details about entrances. On the day of, his talented and energetic team kept the dance floor packed and the vibes high all night long. The photobooth they provided was also an amazing addition that our guests raved about. His excitement about things like our flaming donut bar added to our excitement for the wedding and made us feel confident with every decision we made. “I can’t rave enough about DJ Scott. He was a dream to work with!! Everything was so perfect he made sure the timing of the songs in our ceremony were right on time. He checked in with us all night at the reception to make sure we were having fun and still liked the music. He made our toddlers night playing all of his favorite music and making him feel very important!! Our son makes us pretend to be the dj and flash the living room lights so he can pretend to be on the dance floor still, DJ Scott definitely made a lasting impression with him (and us)! “We had Nick Wright as our "master DJ" for our June 2026 wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Nick was AMAZING - he was open to every genre of music; including k-pop, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, video game music, early 2000s, and more! He walked us through the party pleasers app, which was fantastic. You could upload full spotify playlists straight into the app. The app also breaks down each section of wedding day for every song you may need (ceremony, cocktail hour, cutting the cake, dinner, dancing, etc.). Nick was super nice and was able to do our sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, full dinner and reception, and our grand exit. He was open to all our suggestions; and he brought up things to decide that we hadn't even considered! During the wedding, Nick made sure to check in with us personally and made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend party pleasers for the large selection of rentals, lighting, and their amazing DJs -especially Nick! Lastly, Nick was an amazing "game show host" for our scavenger hunt - we made sure the musical chairs were ready, mc'd the entire hunt, and played a different song for each item! The music was amazing - he played all of our must haves, followed our do-not-play list, and had some amazing early 2000s hip-hop mixes.”
