Formed in 1911, the Woman's Club of Bethesda has been an active member of the Federation of Woman's Clubs. Our clubhouse was built in 1927 and has hosted countless community events, dances, and celebrations. We maintain the historic charm and character while offering all the modern day amenities. Our Admiral's Ballroom is located on the 5th floor of our Historical Admiral Fell Inn, offering large windows with plenty of natural light, and wrap around balcony with great views of Historic Fells Point, Baltimore Inner Harbor, and Baltimore City. Ww also offer outdoor waterfront Wedding Ceremonies at the Bond Street Pier.

1840s Plaza is an elegant Baltimore event venue with several spaces available for events of any kind, including the Ballroom, City Lites and Cabaret. Located in the historic Jonestown neighborhood, 1840s is just steps away from the Inner Harbor, Restaurant Row at Harbor East, and Little Italy. 1840s Plaza is a hidden gem in the middle of a busy city with devoted staff ready to go above and beyond to ensure a flawless event from beginning to end. The iconic red cast iron façade was one of twelve that survived the great Baltimore fire in 1904 and was restored for the opening of the Baltimore City Life Museum. Rich in history and culture, this venue gives guests a glimpse of Baltimore’s distinct history combined with today’s modern luxuries.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the oldest investment bank in America (built in 1901) located in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Financial District, was restored and converted to an upscale venue. The restoration included the building’s original marble, oversized windows, a historically-accurate bar and a Tiffany dome.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department rents out its meeting hall to individuals, local businesses, community groups and organizations. All proceeds from this rental are used to support the department's operations. The Community Hall is available for rent on most Mondays through Saturdays and is an excellent venue for Wedding Receptions, Children’s Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, or Business Conferences. (The hall is not available on Sundays due to our weekly Bingo Fundraiser.)
