She is so talented, and really knows exactly how to engage a dance floor or get everyone to pay attention to something important (LOL). She absolutely killed it on wedding day — every song was perfect, she was so adaptable, and so engaged in the day. We didn’t stress at all about music knowing she was there!! Our dance floor felt like a bigger wedding because she was locked in on keeping everyone dancing — I don’t have many pictures because everyone was busy dancing but they had our crowd of accountants MOVING. That’s no small feat!! It’s also important to note that she was just as awesome throughout the planning process! We are indecisive people who have attended very few weddings, and she helped us through every decision. I cannot say enough how much better she helped us feel!! “If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. “My partner and I came into our wedding planning with a lofty idea - 150 person backyard wedding in the summer heat. Brandon took on the challenge not only with enthusiasm, but also an incredible amount of flexibility, clear direction, and belief. His communication style is stellar - he is readily available and we appreciated his application to make picking songs and organizing them seamless. He is certainly not an "in-your-face" DJ - he makes sure you are the star of your day, and will fill in the gaps where necessary to make your dream come true. I personally had a fairly outlandish request for my mother-son dance, and he just rolled with it - as if it was the simplest and most approachable request ever. He also played a huge part in ensuring all of our ceremony, speeches, etc. were loud and clear. Mics were easy to use, and felt very professional. To say he was fantastic is a gross understatement for how truly spectacular he was from the ceremony to the reception. Our entire reception was on the dance floor for HOURS because he kept playing hit after hit after hit. One of my friends told me she had never seen such a wide span of generations on the dance floor at a wedding before, and she was 100% right. He was such a fantastic DJ it was hard to leave the dance floor, which is exactly what we wanted our reception to be. Marcus was also a complete professional. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. Party Girl Entertainment is run and operated by Amy Reid; an active Baltimore DJ, musician and events curator performing since 2010. Driven by music, a sincere joy of the dance floor and the power it has to bring people together, she formed PGE in 2019 with this goal in mind. She is accommodating and welcomes venues both intimate and expansive. In 2017, The Baltimore Sun deemed Reid as one of “10 Baltimore Musicians on the Rise.” She has also been featured in Baltimore Magazine’s “Faces of Pride” issue in 2019. Her favorite party starters are Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.”

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. The band has been together for 20 years performing for casinos, weddings, corporate affairs, clubs, and parties. We are very fortunate to have great performers and talent in one band. The band is very high energy we will make your event rock. Your guest will be blown away from all the dancing and just having a great time. The band specializes in various music and dance music for all occasions. From Motown, Classic Rock, 70’s, 80’s, 90,s, current dance, R&B dance, and top 40 dance music.
