Photographing elopements happened by chance for me, but once I did my first one, I realized what an amazing experience it was for my couples. Having played a role on so many big wedding days, I realized there was so much my couples were missing out on. The stand out was the pace of the day and time spent with each other! I learned elopements moved at a much slower pace and that those couples had so much more time with each other. They are free to mark the date at a location that really speaks to them, and without a guest list (or a small one) they were so much more free to celebrate the way that left them feeling the most content.

It is so important to me that your wedding photography is authentic to you as a couple. I want you to have the space to be yourselves, and the time to savor each part of the day. While I do enjoy directing my couples to some extent, I want to be involved as little or as much as you'd have me. Our wedding business started out with me shooting a wedding video for a very dear friend of mine in 2017. I posted the video to a Facebook business page and BOOM! It received 200,000 views and we started receiving hundreds of inquiries from couples around the PNW. Every year I would book 30-40 weddings doing photos and videos for couples. When COVID struck, we had a year crashing into the next year. We had to adapt. So I grew our company to 8 teams of pro photographers/videographers to cover weddings around the US. There is nothing better than capturing love on the biggest day ever. Every day we are thankful to be able to do this.

People always come first, before a rigid timeline or perfect image. My background and training years started in college at The Savannah College of Art and Design, continued in Africa as a documentarian, and in 2011 I began shooting weddings. I give God glory for playing such an important role in capturing your wedding day memories.

I'm originally from the Biggest Little City in Nevada, but I dream of owning a paint horse ranch in the texas, with a big open white and black barn and room for all my dogs! You know the ones we all see on pinterest.... but my new home in Georgia is everything I could have dreamt up and more.

Hi, I'm Candace and I have a thing for weddings! I didn't start as a wedding photographer, I actually started as a BIRTH photographer surprisingly! I was addicted to capturing real and raw moments for families to have and relive over and over. I actually was nervous for weddings, which is why I didn't start doing them. One thing led to another and as people started asking me if I WOULD shoot their wedding, I decided to give it a try. Fast-forward to dozens and dozens of weddings later and I am obsessed!!
